Hawaii Day 9 - Stay out the Sun Day

Today we had a relaxing, mostly stay at home day. We tried to stay out of the sun because of the sunburns we've been getting (even though we feel like we are putting sunscreen on all the time!) We played games, the men golfed, my sisters, mom, Sam, Jack, Coleman, Cam and I went to the beach for an hour in the late afternoon when the sun wasn't quite so intense. We finished the day with dessert and Angel's for ice cream and shave ice.

Doug at Kuhuku golf.

Sam and Jack have spent a lot of time playing the ukulele. They have learned several songs! They like to practice in my and Doug's room (and I guess Kenzie's since she's been sleeping on the floor in there most nights :))

Jordan didn't want to go to the beach because he wanted to stay home and read Harry Potter.

Kenzie and Nati put on a dance class for anyone who wanted to go. Kimber, Sam, Alli, Kenna, and Cam all went. The boys didn't want to.

Ashlee, Cam, Jack and Sam in the water, Coleman, Michelle at Kokololio Beach.

Jack and Sam swam the whole time.

This boy LOVES games. He is always asking the rest of us if we want to play one. His favorite right now is scum. He also loves Cover your Assets, Play Nine, and Nerts, although he doesn't like Nerts with a lot of people. He caught on really quick to Nerts and plays really well. Almost anytime we are at the house he is playing with his cards.

Kenzie and Nati wore their jammies to dessert. We first tried to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center to get some donuts and shave ice, but the donut place was closed so we went to Angels instead since we thought their shave ice would be cheaper.

Kenzie's mouth turned blue from her raspberry shave ice.
