Twins

Awhile ago Mackenzie and Coleman decided they were twins and wanted to share rooms. Mackenzie was planning on moving all her stuff into Coleman's room (but that never happened because I told them they had to take stuff out of Coleman's room before we put more stuff in, and they never did it.)
Mackenzie made signs for their room.

Sometimes they both slept on beds, and sometimes they slept on the floor.

Coleman said one day that he wished they were actually twins so they could sit by each other at dinner. Then he asked me if twins share a chair :)

Swim Lessons

I assigned Kenzie and Coleman up for swim lessons at the Covington Aquatic Center. I was hoping they would be in the same class, but the teacher suggested that I keep Coleman in a lower lever. I'm fine with him being in a lower lever as long as he improves. After today's lesson I think he will. His teacher seems really great.
Coleman's the oldest kid in his class. It's a preschool class, but the non-preschool classes are for kids 6 and older. Even though Coleman is kindergarten age he's not 6. This was a big reason the teacher wanted him to be in this class (although at least half the other kids in Kenzie's class are 5 or younger... but I'm pretty sure they have been with the same teacher for awhile.)

He was not excited to go today, but during class he called over to me and said that it was more fun than he thought it would be.

The floated on their front.

And on their back.

Mackenzie's class was right after Coleman's. I was so happy to find they had a class higher than the preschool levels during the day.

Coleman wanted to watch from the bleachers.

Mackenzie was the fastest kid in her class by a lot. They had to swim to one side and then turn around and swim back without waiting for the other kids. Kenzie finished the 2 lengths before the other kids finished one. It helps that she's older and bigger than the other kids. She loved being so much faster though:) Her side breaths improved a lot in just one class, which is something she needed to work on.

Sunday Pictures

This was what my house looked like after I took a day from cleaning and telling everyone else to clean. (Well mostly, I did ask them to do a little cleaning.)

So messy!

Coleman let me do his hair spiky.

He doesn't it like it spiky, or as a mo-hawk. He only like it his normal way or like daddy's hair.

I love my man!

This picture makes me smile.

I love this girl!

My Fabulous Birthday

I had a great day turning 32! My family spoiled me!
Kenzie, Colie, and me. Plus Doug doing dishes in the background :)

Jackson makes me laugh every time I look at this picture. I have no idea what he's doing but it's hilarious.

Doug got me a new camera!

Kenzie and Colie were excited to give me a waffle maker! I love Kenzie's face in this picture. It looks like she's watching me to see if I like it.

Jordan gave me an ice cream scoop!

An instant pot! I'm excited to try it out.

A new soap dispenser! Our old one stopped working, although we're having trouble with this one too.

Fridge mats and dish rags!

And a new bike!

I tried it out in the house, which was harder than the kids make it look :) The size of my bike makes it more difficult.

I took it for a ride outside.

Most of the kids (other than Jackson) followed me up the street.

I rode all the way up to the mailbox, which was much easier than the kids make it look :)

Next we went bowling!
I didn't get a picture of Jackson's present. He gave me a gift card to by the ebook of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He also brought me breakfast in bed.

We got 2 lanes, one with bumpers and one without. Jackson, Doug, and I were on one lane and the other kids were on the other.

Kenzie was sad because she accidentally threw the bowling ball over the bumpers a couple time. Doug tried to cheer her up.

After Taco Bell/Pizza Hut for lunch, we went to Coleman's last soccer game.

All these pictures are from my new camera.

He was very serious this game.

He kicked the ball a few times.

After the game the coach handed out medals and she gave each of the kids a certificate with a nickname she came up for them. Coleman's was "Unstoppable Goalie" After he got it, he asked Doug if that meant he was a good goalie :)

After dinner with my parents at Boonmar Thai we went to Kenzie's soccer game.

She puts her hands on her head after she's been running a lot.

Cute girl.

Kenzie scored her first goal this season. She was playing defense and took the ball from the other player, ran across the entire field, past the other team's defenders and shot it. The goalie blocked the first kick, but it came right back to Kenzie and she kicked again and scored. It was pretty awesome :)

It's hard to get a picture of her that's not blurry because she is always running so fast :)

We went home and Doug frosted the cake and he and Kenzie put the candles in.

Coleman prefers to bounce around the house instead of walk :)

Kenzie getting a lighter out.

Jordan made me thing like the thing Elsa holds during her coronation in Frozen. He also made me a crown, but I didn't get a picture of it.

I blew them all out in one breath!

Happy Birthday to me!
