Human Pyramid

We went to the Winters' house after co-op today (we usually do so Bryce and Jordan can play together since Bryce does a different co-op now) and the kids decided to make a human pyramid.

Kenzie got this pineapple shirt for her birthday and she likes to use it to express her feelings. :)

Sean's Birthday Party

While we were at Fright Fest, Kenzie was at Sean's birthday party. Sean's mom, Maggie, sent me these pictures of Kenzie and Phoenix handcuffed together :)

Fright Fest

We went to Fright Fest on Saturday. Kenzie didn't come because she was at a birthday party.
It was so empty. They didn't have to wait in any lines, other than for the Kangabounce.

Coleman convinced Doug to ride the Kangabounce with him.

Jackson and Jordan sat by each other on a ride!

The boys played some games.

Coleman rode the Wild Thing for the first time and loved it!

He was all smiles when he got off.

Salmon Hatchery

We went to the Salmon Hatchery on Friday for a FLEET field trip.
The middle school group.

The 3rd-5th grade group.

Holly and Kenzie

All the kids.

Defy

We got 9 month passes to Defy (which used to be known as Flying Circus). There was a homeschool deal that it's unlimited playing from 10-3 everyday school is in for $10 a month.

Neighborhood Kids

The kids have been playing with the neighborhood kids a lot lately. And a lot of the neighborhood kids have hoverboards. Jackson says 14 of them have them.
One day several of the kids parked their hoverboards on our grass while they were playing.

The kids were playing a game similar to ultimate frisbee in the street. They had goals and pennies. It was very official looking.

Tacoma Art Museum

I took my kids as well as our friends Phoenix, Xander, and Izzy to the Tacoma Art Museum homeschool day. The Winters met us there.
First, we did a tour and learned about elements in art.

Then some of the kids did flip books.

And others did painting.

Then Kenzie joined us at flip book making.

After lunch, everyone did painting. They were painting on clear sheets and making different layers in their art. Next time, I think we should probably do paint first so that it can dry before we leave.

Graham, Izzy, Erin, Nellie.

Xander and Izzy

They did a little more coloring/drawing on our way out. It was a fun day!

Last Mariners' Game

Jack and I went to one last Mariners' game with my parents, Larry, and Lori before the season ended.
We went to Matt's Famous Chili Dogs for dinner. Jackson tried some of Grandpa's hot dog. He said it wasn't too bad.

Me, my mom, Lori, Larry, Jackson, my dad.

Mackenzie's Birthday!

Mackenzie had a great birthday!
Last night as a 9 year old! She looks huge in the picture!

Coleman and Kenzie have sleepovers almost every night.

First thing she did was open presents!

A fake plant from Coleman

We got her a hoverboard. She was so, so excited!

Doug read the instructions and warnings to everyone.

Jordan gave her a devil costume. That's what she plans on being for Halloween.

She had a couple cards in the mail, one from Grandma Dance and one from my Aunt Lori.

She's been saying she wants a big bowl of muddy buddy chocolate for her birthday so Doug made her some.

Yum!

Her birthday was on a Sunday so we went to church in the afternoon and then had her family party at the Crabtree's with Alli. We had pasta for dinner. Then they opened presents.

They both wanted Grandma Cake.

Ashlee and Konrad snuggling Alli's hedgehog:)

The next night we went to Olive Garden with my mom, Aunt Lori, and Uncle Larry. She also wants to go to Chuck E. Cheese again so we'll do that again soon. She also wants to get some ice cream.
