Wild Waves

Wild Waves finally opened! We went 3 times before school was out. We love it when it's not too crowded :)

There are new slides this year that the boys were so excited to try.

They loved them!

Jackson is excited to finally be tall enough to ride all the rides!

Kenzie was excited (and a little nervous) to be tall enough to ride the tea cups.

Little Helper

Coleman's just too cute.

Great Wolf Lodge

We surprised the kids in the beginning of June and took them to Great Wolf Lodge. They didn't know until we pulled in the parking lot that we were going there. Before we got in the turn lane Kenzie saw Great Wolf Lodge and said "I didn't know we were by Great Wolf Lodge." Then Jack complained "That means we're an hour away from home." Then we turned into the parking lot and Jordan exclaimed, "It's a surprise!" They were so happy and excited!
So excited while we were waiting for Doug to check us in.

After checking in we went straight to the water park. Then we went to Dairy Queen for dinner and then go some dessert to eat in our room.

Kenzie told us "I can't go to bed without a bedtime story!" because she wanted to go to story time.

On Tuesday after breakfast, Kenzie, Colemanm and I went to swim, while the big boys went to do magic wands.

They joined us at lunch time.

Jackson was a little upset because they couldn't finish the quest because they started fighting.

Jordan

Kenzie loved the body slides this time.

Jack always has :)

Jordan is on the yellow slide, Jackson is walking in front.

Jordan

Coleman went down the red slide and loved it! He wanted to do it over and over again. He refused to go down the yellow one though :)

Kenzie

Last Day of Preschool and Preschool Graduation

Kenzie on her last day of normal preschool. She wanted to dress like a soccer player.

The real last day of preschool was at the playground at Steel Lake. Kenzie was wearing her swim suit (since we had swim lessons right after), her dress, long socks, shorts, and dress shoes. It was quite the outfit :)

That night we had preschool graduation. Kenzie is on the right in the yellow dress.

Kenzie getting her diploma and portfolio. I think Ashlee is going to have to make Coleman of those next year too, along with the kitchen towel for Mother's Day :)

The cute graduating class.

Other May Pictures

Jordan likes to hang things up in mine and Doug's room. He hung up some math worksheets, a picture of Robin Hood he colored, and some stencil art he did at Ashlee's house.

We finished watching Cam 3 days a week in May. We miss her! Colie has shared his love of peanut butter spoons with her which is why she has a spoon in her hand.

The Crabtrees move in May and and we watched Cam several times so Ashlee could get the things she need to done. One day when we watched her she wanted to be Kenzie's puppy. We were also trying to finish up Jack's Wolf badge for Cub Scouts and he needed to walk around and pick up trash. I sent him outside to do it. All the kids ended up wanting to do it. We ended up walking all the way around the neighborhood with most the kids in their pajamas and Camryn on the leash (she was walking, not crawling...) I'm sure we were quite the sight to see :)

Kenzie finished her how to read book! She is doing awesome at reading. He prize for finishing the book was that dalmation she's holding in the picture.

Coleman didn't want to wait to start the book. We've only done a couple lessons. I wasn't planning to start it until after summer, but he was really excited about it.

We went to the beach. It was so warm and sunny.  We love gong in May when everyone else is in school and it's not at all crowded.

Kenzie made a panda habitat with some bamboo for her preschool zoo. She made it by herself the day Ashlee told them that they were going to be making a zoo, which was a couple weeks before they made the zoo. She loves animals and making things so it was the perfect project for her :)

My crazy kids :)

Colie wrote mom for the first time!

Kenzie made a preschool for Colie. This was her question of the day: Do you like to take a bath? He wrote his name under yes. Then they sang songs and did centers and a project. They made a bath picture for project time. Then she cleaned it all up without his help since she was the teacher. It was so cute to watch :)

Doug loves pineapple juice.

We have a kid cookbook. In it there's a receipe for fruit kabobs and dip. Jackson made a plateful for us for dinner one night. They were a big hit.

This picture makes me laugh :)

Yummy!
