Bouncy House

We met some friends at a bouncy house last week. The kids had so much fun.
At first Coleman didn't want to jump. He was nervous about going on them. He just wanted to play air hockey.

I didn't bring socks so I couldn't go on with him, but one of friends asked him he wanted to go with her and he said yes, and loved jumping the rest of the time.

He even went down the big slide.

Mackenzie loved going down the slide with a ball.

The boys loved playing Foosball. That's what they were most looking forward to when I told them we were going to the bouncy house.

Basketball

Jack's been playing basketball this month.  We've been having fun watching him play each week.
They like to sit at the top.

 Jack has the orange ball.

 Jack's in the back.

My mom came and read books to Jordan, Kenzie, and Coleman

Mickey Mouse

Colie loves his Mickey Mouse doll that Jack gave him for Christmas. He sleeps with it every night and at nap time. He also carries it around the house. He brings it in the car and any place we let him bring Mickey.

Roller Skating

The boys and I met some friends for roller skating. I had bought Jack some roller skates the week before so he about a week's practice of roller skating. It was Jordan's first time. They both did good. Jordan clung to the wall the whole time, but I was proud of him for keeping on trying instead of giving up because it was hard. Jack stayed close to the wall but wasn't holding on most of the time.

Winter Break

We've been having a fun playing with our friends who are out of school for Christmas break. The boys have enjoyed having the last couple weeks off of homeschool too :)

Jackson loves doing art. He made a basketball court our of cardboard.

Shooting the ball. His room has been a mess lately because of his art projects. He loves making things for other people and he wants to do it secretly so he does it in his room. We decided to move this little shelf to his room from the basement because it wasn't working well for the dress-up clothes (no one wanted to sort them to put them away... surprising huh? :)) Now he can store his art supplies inside of the bins and he can do his projects on top. And his room stays much cleaner :)

Kenzie took the following 2 pictures... She's always asking me if she can take pictures.

The kids and some of their friends made a tall tower that almost touched the ceiling.

We watched the Crabtree girls (except Kimber) while Ash, Konrad, and Kimber went to a movie. Doug and the kids built a fort. We bought some more blocks thanks to some money from Grandma and Grandpa Dance. It's so fun to have more blocks.

Cam was giving our neglected baby toys some love :) Kenzie liked putting the rings on her head.

The fort after it was finished. They didn't really get to play in it though because when they were done it was time for the Dance children to sleep :)

All the kids crammed in there.

We went to the Science Center today:
The kids were giggling a lot making silly pictures.

They watched a dinosaur claymation movie.

 Colie looked at the constellations.

And laid in a dinosaur's footprint.

Happy New Year!

We just stayed home for New Year's Eve, like we always do... We were planning on putting the kids to bed at normal time, but then we got distracted playing the Wii together and they ended up going t bed at 9 instead. So we counted down with the kids at 9:00 for eastern New Year's. All the kids loved it, but Colie especially did. He was still finishing his snack when Doug and I took the other kids upstairs to get them in bed. We heard him counting and then he yelled "happy birthday!" haha I love that boy!
