Jackson and Jordan's friends Mason and Koper were in town for the weekend (they flew in on Wednesday at midnight. Jackson took some busses down to meet them (he had to stop at a 711 to trade his cash for ones to keep riding it) at the airport. They then took the bus (I think) to Waikiki where they wanted to find somewhere to sleep on the beach until sunrise. Everywhere they stopped they were kicked off of and told it was closed at night. They ended up getting an Uber ride to our house for $30. Koper and Mason both fell asleep. Jackson stayed awake and learned a lot about the history of Hawaii from the driver. They slept some here but also went and swam at the beach. Doug took them to Kokololio in the morning and then we dropped them off at Costco on our way to the airport.) They came back to the house Sunday night after we got home and slept here. On Monday we all went to Pipeline and Matsumoto's.

On Tuesday We went to Kokololio. It was pretty rainy that day so most didn't make it very late. By the time, Doug, Coleman, Jordan, and I left it hadn't been raining very much, but the boys were ready to go. We went to Sunset and sunset that night and then to PCC for dessert.

We often go to McDonalds after the beach to reward the kids that last the longest.

Wednesday was rainy. We tried to go to Sunset, but it was rainy there. It didn't look like it was going to get better on the North Shore so we headed to Waikiki for the day. That night some of us had tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil Auana in Waikiki so it worked out well to go there.
It was so hot! The sand burned out feet. Chelle, Alli, and I (sometimes joined by others) sat in the sand where the water would still wash into us sometimes in order to stay cool.
The Kenyons and us went to Cheesecake Factory, as we usually do. They said it would be an hour for all of us to sit together. They said it would be 5 minutes if we 3 sat together and since we were going to the show, we did that. Michelle sat with the rest of the kids. They were able to be seated not too long after us, and actually ended up finishing before us since they didn't get cheesecake.
Us 7 and Ashlee were the only ones who saw the show. It was so good! It was a lot different than expected and it was so much fun. And a little stressful at times, hoping the performers wouldn't fall.
Thursday was the Crabtree's last day :( We went to Kokololio, where we had much better weather than the last time we went. And that night we went to Sunset for Sunset.
Coleman is often trying to get Doug and Jackson to play football with him.

Kenzie and Nati were doing some synchronized swimming in the water.
It rained for a bit so we had to hide under the towels a bit.
The highlight of the night was seeing some sting rays swimming! (at least we think they're sting rays; they could have been another kind of ray:)) We saw them swimming a ways out and thought it was a turtle but as it got closer we realized they were rays! We called Kenzie and Nati out of the water and watched the rays swim for awhile.
Friday the Crabtrees left around 9:30. We were so sad to see them go. We decided to go to Matsumoto's and then to Sunset. My dad, Doug, Jackson, and Jordan went golfing instead of to Sunset.
Kenzie got pooed on by a bird! It was so gross.
A lady nearby had some baby wipes so Doug helped to clean Kenzie up while Nati laughed :)
Sunset was so pretty. It was hot though! Luckily the waves aren't big so it as easy to go in

Saturday we went to Kokololio for a while, then decided to go hike the Hauula Loop Trail since it was a bit chilly and crowded.
Nati took a lot of pictures of Jackson like this at our different stops. I'm pretty sure it was with his phone.

Sunday we went to church for our last Sunday here. It was a great meeting and we were happy to sing Aloha Oe because a boy gave his farewell talk and will be leaving on his mission. We've played games and just hung out since we've been home.
