Jordan's First Day of School

Jordan had his first day of school on Wednesday! He drove to the Tacoma Dome and then walked to school. On Thursday, he rode the light rail from the Tacoma Dome. He enjoyed is classes and a great time at school!

 

Coleman's Juggling Balls

Coleman has been loving juggling for the past several months. He found some really good juggling balls he wanted to buy, but they took over a month to get here (they weren't from Amazon :)) He was so excited when they finally got here! He loves them and thinks they were worth the wait!

Barn Update!

The barn is almost done and is looking so good!

Doug bought a red fridge for it and I love it!

We painted around the window and doors white.

Doug and Jordan put up the rest of the board and batten in the bathroom and everywhere else.

We watched Goat as our first movie out there. We all liked it:)

Kenzie and Coleman started tennis lesson at BETC with Coach Patrick again.

I got a new roomba and it cleans the mop after each mopping and the water that comes off the mop is so dirty and gross! I just want to keep running the roomba until the water is clean, but it seems impossible.

Jordan played at National Night Out with his band. He's still enjoying playing!

My new roomba, and the old one. The old one can go under the cabinets so I wanted to run it in there before Doug took it out to the barn.

Doug got the projector up and running in the barn!

Kentwood Tennis!

Coleman is playing tennis for Kentwood again! He's almost always plays JV singles 1 and has done really well! He's won most of his matches. At one of his matches a man who was watching Coleman's opponent came over to Doug and me and told us he was really impressed with Coleman's sportsmanship. He said it was out of this world. We're happy Coleman's kindness was noticed. He is a great kid!

Summer Harvest

It's been fun harvesting from my garden!

Jordan loves picking cucumbers and eating them. He would eat one everyday if he could.

We had a tiny strawberry.

We got lots of peppers! Jordan and I picked them, and then made salsa together with them. The salsa was so yummy!

We were so excited when the tomatoes started turning red!

So many tomatoes and peppers! I gave my mom a bunch of tomatoes too. 

Kenzie's Birthday Party

Kenzie and Lorelei had a joint birthday party. Everything turned out great! The decorations, the food, and the activities all were perfect. They ate dinner, painted picture frames, did cake embroider (they decorated little cakes with sprinkles), and had cake. Everyone had a great time! They ate dinner in our house and then had the party in the barn (Doug was so excited someone was having a party out there!)

Lorelei's aunt made the sign! She did a great job! Heather came over and helped decorate.

The table looked so pretty!

They had everyone wear a white dress and they wore pink ones.

We had her family party on Sunday. Grandma made a yummy grandma cake!
