Olympic National Park Day 4

On our last day we went to Marymere Falls from Lake Crescent. Coleman had a great attitude on this hike and wanted to go fast. He probably would have ran it if I would have been willing. He and I were ahead of everyone else until we got to a traffic jam at a bridge. It was a great hike!
Kenzie in a stump.

After we came back down, we stopped at the beautiful lake.

Olympic National Park Day 3

On the third day we went to Hurricane Ridge. We were supposed to do a long hike, but Doug's ankle was a bit sore. We decided to hike the short trails around the visitor's center. They were covered in snow though so we hiked one of them and called it good.
We saw lots of deer!

That night we looked out the window of our hotel and saw a deer grazing! We named her Delilah and watched her for awhile. It was so cool!

Olympic National Park Day 2

On the second day we went to the Hoh Rain Forest Hall of Moss and the Hole in the Wall from Rialto Beach.
The hall of moss was a quick hike. Coleman was happier because he knew it was a short hike so it was also more enjoyable for me :) The sole of my shoe has fallen off on the last hike too, so it was also nice to have a normal shoe again.

I love how green it is!

Coleman was my walking buddy for the whole trip so most of my pictures are of him. The others were often far ahead of us.

It was cool to see the trees that grew on top of fallen logs.

Kenzie

Kenzie and Coleman

Kenzie hiked with me and Coleman a lot too.

We found a huge slug!

Almost as big as Jordan's head!

We saw some deer on our way out.

Rialto Beach:

Kenzie loved walking on the logs. She loves exploring nature!

We had to cross over a little creek on a log. Coleman and I didn't want to do it and wanted to just hang out there while the other finished the hike. But Doug really wanted us to come the rest of the way.

Jack and Jordan pushed a log over to a narrower part of the creek so it was easier to cross there.

There were seals in the water right by the log crossing place. Coleman and I wished we would have just stayed there and watched them :)

There were some tide pools with some sea anemone. There wasn't anything else to see in the tide pools.
