Just Some Pictures

 Cute Coleman

He was sad about having to go to bed.

 Daddy cheered him up.

Doug let Kenzie (and Colie) sit on the table to watch Jackson and him play chess.

I'm planning to teach the boys to sew more this year during homeschool. Jordan has been wanting to work on the projects lately. The blue one is just a square that helped him practice sewing strait lines.

The yellow thing is a bookmark. He was especially excited to make it because he was able to use the decorative stitches that I don't usually let him use. He also can now successfully thread the sewing machine by himself.

 Silly Colie.

Silly Kenzie.

Jordan's Haircut

His hair was getting a little crazy!

His pile of hair.

So handsome!

Amazon Summer Picnic

We went to Amazon's Summer Picnic and Century Link Field where the Seahawks play. We had a lot of fun!
We got there about 45 minutes early, but they were letting people in at that time. We couldn't really do much, but we were able to get some balloon animals from the balloon lady. Last year I think we waited for an hour to get them. It was way too long. We also figured out what we wanted to do while we were there.

The kids were mesmerized by her balloon making skills.

Kenzie noticed the lady was making a pink one for her.

The boys got swords.

Kenzie got a butterfly bracelet.

Colie watching his being made.

He got a frog.

He loved it!

We decided to get in line for face painting before they let everyone else in. They stopped letting people in at some point so there was a long line outside. There was a band playing some music and the kids were dancing.

Face Painting:

Kenzie's got a butterfly, Jordan got a 12 (for the Seahawks 12th man), Coleman got skull, and Jackson got a Seahawk.

After the face painting we got our shirts, ate lunch, and Jackson did a little soccer camp. Then we watch a science show (that we've seen at the science center), a mad science show (not from the science center), and a magic show. The kids also bounced in the bouncy houses between shows.
The science show.

We ended the day at the toddler play area, but we didn't get any pictures of it. The kids ate some of the snacks there and jumped in the jumpy house, while Doug and I sat at table in the shade. It was a nice end to a fun day:)

New Castle Beach

We went to New Castle Beach with my friend Robyn and her kids. It had been a long time since we had been there to swim. The kids loved it and would have stayed longer if I had let them.
It was a hot day and the boys jumped in right when we got there.

I make Colie wear a life jacket all the time by the water now. He's a bit more fearless than my other children. I'm worried he'll just jump in and think he can swim. He likes his life jacket now though. He used to hate it.

Kenzie swimming. She wears her life jacket too all the time even though she can swim without one. She doesn't swim well enough without it. And she doesn't want to swim without it either :)

Jackson, Tucker pouring water on Cassidy, and Kenzie.

Jackson liked filling up the noodle with the water and then blowing it out at people.

Colie-boy!

Mariners' Game

We went to an afternoon Mariners' game to watch them play the Braves. The Braves were my 2nd favorite team when I was growing up (after the Mariners, of course!) Doug was supposed to come with us, but then he had to go to Canada for work so we brought a friend with us. My mom was there too. She sat in her seat and 1-2 of the kids were down there with her. They rotated throughout the game.

Jordan wanted to take a picture of Kenzie and me.

The kids after the game.

Garage Sale and Sleeping Kids

We had a garage sale a few weekends ago. Jackson thought that I was pricing things way too cheap and insisted that we write cheap on our garage sale sign :)

We went to check on Kenzie one night and she was sleeping like this with her baby on her tummy.

I just think he's cute sleeping on his mattress and not in the crib. He always looks so big.

Temple Trip

We met a bunch of friends to walk around the temple grounds with the kids.
Kenzie wanted to push her baby, Minnie Mouse, around.

We waited here for the rest of our friends to show up.

Some of the kids.

Looking at the fountain. Jackson is in the red shirt, Jordan has green pants, and Coleman is wearing his swim clothes.

All the kids, except 3, I think. One didn't want to be in the picture, and 2 are little babies :)

There were a ton of boys. Only 2 girls.

Jordan

The kids sat down to relax for a few minutes.

After the temple we went to a spray park nearby. The kids loved it!
