Easter

We had a fabulous Easter. We colored Easter eggs, did several Easter egg hunts, and had lots of fun with family and friends.

Our first Easter activity was Ashlee's annual egg hunt. The kids had fun finding the eggs and eating the candy.

Kenzie followed Kimber around the whole time.

Cute Jordan boy.

 Alli.

Jack and Jordan going through their eggs. Jackson was disappointed to find some hair clips in some of his eggs :)

Coleman didn't do this egg hunt. I didn't know if he'd want to find eggs, and I didn't have enough eggs to bring for him to do it anyway. He ended wanting to be held most of the time anyways so it worked out well.

Jordan, Kenzie, and Jackson excited to color Easter eggs the day before Easter.

Coleman was excited to color eggs this year.

Easter morning! Coleman was not happy to be kept up there while I was down the stairs. He wasn't very happy that morning until we gave him some food.

The kids hunted for the hard boiled eggs and their Easter baskets.

Coleman wanted her egg. :)

Jordan found his basket.

He loved putting the eggs in the tray.

I apparently didn't boil the eggs very well. A few of them dropped and the gooey insides came out. We decided it was best to just throw all the eggs away instead of taking a risk and eating them. It's a good thing none of us really hard boiled eggs. :)

They looked through their Easter baskets. I made their baskets last year, and realized this year that they're too big. The Easter bunny had to bring them something big to fill it up, otherwise it would have looked empty with just some candy in them.

They each got a kick board.

And a chocolate bunny.

Jackson and Jordan also got some water squirters.

And they each got a outside water toy.

A few weeks ago Kenzie saw a little girl in church that had on a pretty pink dress and Kenzie said the girl was a princess. So I wanted to get Kenzie a princess dress for church too. I found one at Target, and wasn't sure I loved it. But after she put it on I did love it. She looks so cute in it. She was so excited for it too. She was so happy that she could wear it to church and that it's a church dress (she asked both of those questions :)) She thought it was dress up clothes.

She's just too cute.

She chose some stick on earrings to wear too.

Kenzie wanted me to take her picture in the car with her binky on the way to grandma Riding's house.

Jordan looking handsome.

Coleman looking handsome too.

After eating dinner we headed outside to find Easter eggs.

Coleman got more into it than I expected. He was excited to find the eggs and put them in his bag.

Kenzie fell on her way out of the house and refused to look for Easter eggs until I got her a bandaid for each of her knees.

Jackson was given a choice to go out the front with the big kids or out the back with the little kids. He chose the back and it was a wise decision on his part. He found a ton of eggs and got a lot of money.

2 of my cute boys.

I told Jackson about my trick of falling grandpa around when you don't know where else to look for eggs. He always walks around trying to figure out which ones have been found and which ones haven't been found. If he finds one and you're following him he'll usually give you a hint.

Thanks for hosting another great Easter party mom and dad! :)
