March Happenings

Coleman was sick :(

Kimber had a baby shower for baby Lucy! It was so fun celebrating them both!

Our water heater leaked. Luckily out plumber was willing to come out late at night and help Doug fix it.

We saw the Issaquah troll with the yw!

I made bread with a meal I don't usually make bread with and forgot about it. It was burnt to a crisp!

Jordan wanted some new puzzles, so we went the thrift store and he chose some challenging ones. A Snoopy one.

And a Waldo one! Even a couple months later he's still working on them :)

We also got on nice and easy one that we finished quickly.

Doug went to Sandy Valley!

And he's been mowing the lawn

Our stake put on the play, Newsies! It was really good and a lot of fun to watch!

Coleman is almost as tall as Doug!

Spring Formal

Kenzie and Carter went to the church Spring Formal together. They hiked Poo Poo Point in Issaquah, went to Red Robin for and early dinner, went back to their houses to get ready, took pictures at Carter's house, went to the dance for a little bit, and then hung out at Carter's the rest of the evening. They had a great time together!

Kenzie curling her hair!

I took this picture before she headed out for pictures. She's so beautiful!

Kenzie made his boutonniere from flowers be bought at Fred Meyer. It turned out so good! I was very impressed!

Carter's mom took all their pictures. They turned at so cute!

Snow!

The snow stuck around for another day. It was so pretty!

The ball Jordan made and the snowmen lasted the longest.

Jordan Turns 18!

Jordan turned 18! We woke up to a surprise layer of snow on the ground. Then it continued to snow all day long. It was kind of crazy! Jordan hadn't decided what he wanted to do that day, so he was happy to just stay home. We thought about going out to dinner, but he ended up just wanting enchiladas at home.

Ready to open presents!

Peanut butter cups!

Piano books

Disc golf basket!

He took it out even though it was all snowy :)

And he played disc golf!

Then he started rolling the snow. Without gloves on!

We all bundled up and went out to play in the snow. We went sledding in the front hilly grass. Coleman's trying it here!

Coleman and Jordan I think

So pretty!

Then we worked together to build a snowman.

Kenzie!

She had been inside making some snow cone syrup. Then she sat around making herself some snow cones :)

It was a team effort trying to build the snowman.

We ended up making 2! We decided they were like Grandma and Grandpa Riding because one was tall and one was short!

Kenzie still eating snow cones!

They have face and arms!

Jordan had some snow cones too

The snow was a couple inches deep!

Colie and I tried sledding in the amphitheater grass

Doug made us a fire so we could warm up and dry off while we played Jordan's new board game and Mario Kart.

Jordan played the piano

His last present arrived! It wasn't supposed to come for a few more days so we were pleasantly surprised :)

It was a Seahawks fan shirt!

Mario Kart

Kenzie eating more snow cones

Kenzie made and frosted some cookies

Jordan chose DoJo's Delight for dessert

We had the Crabtree's over the following Sunday for his family party so we sang to him again and he blew out the candles again

And they gave him his present!
