140%!

Kenzie was so excited to get 140% on a story she wrote for science that she made a display for our wall:
Her teacher loved that she went above and beyond on writing a story about the states of matter and gave her an extra 10 points on her assignment.

Yay!

Basketball

Coleman loves playing basketball on sunny days! He often wears sun glasses when he plays.

Horse Clothes

Kenzie bought new horse riding jacket and boots. They look great!

Jordan gets his Permit

We were able to print of Jordan's driving permit yesterday since it was 10 days until he starts drivers' ed. I took him driving in the Meridian Middle School parking lot and then around nearby neighborhoods. He did pretty good!

Rock Climbing

Jackson went to Logan's 16th birthday party at a cool park in North Bend. They play lots of ultimate frisbee and went rock climbing. Kenzie went to too to hang out with Jenna.
Jackson doesn't usually want to rock climb, but he did it here and Christina said he went up really quickly.

Kenzie also climbed the rock. She has liked it since she did it at girls' camp last year.

Rubik's Cube Competition

Jordan went to a Rubik's competition on Saturday in Bothel. He competed in 3x3, 4x4, 7x7, square one, and skewb. He made it to the second round in the 3x3. He had a personal record for the 3x3 in competitions (13.04 sec) and 4x4 ever (54.33).

Miniature Golf

Everyone one else was gone this afternoon so Coleman and I decided to go mini golfing. We went to a course by the ice rink. It was small, but fun!

Select Soccer Game

Kenzie had a select soccer game (she had to miss her rec game to go to it) She got lots of playing time and did well. Her team lost 1-2, but I was excited they scored a goal because they often don't score any.

My Adorable Kids

Aren't they the cutest? :)

St. Patrick's Day

Kenzie left surprises for everyone. She's so fun!

Doug's Away

Doug went to San Jose for work for a few days this week. He was missing us so we sent him some pictures...

A new phone came for me while he was gone. My old one wouldn't work for calling anymore so we figured it was time for a new one.

Kenzie and Coleman were both not feeling well this week so when Doug asked how they were we sent some pictures to show him...

Reunited at last!

Kentwood Soccer

Jackson and Jordan both tried out for Kentwood soccer. Jackson didn't make it, but Jordan made c-team. He had his first two games this past week.
Jordan's number 24.

There are about 25 kids on c-team. All the kids in colored pinnies are on his team, as well as the 11 on the field. There are so many boys!

It was a beautiful day yesterday, warm and sunny!

Sledding at Hyak

On Tuesday the kids and I went sledding at Hyak. We hadn't been there since before covid so we were especially excited to go back. We had a great time!

Coleman

Jordan in the new blow up tube he got for Christmas. He really loves sledding and was the one who kept asking if we were going to go this year.

The kept going down in a pile. Once they tried to put Coleman on the bottom but he did not like that!

Kenzie made herself a snow bed.

It was a great day!

Jordan's Birthday!

Jordan turned 15 on Monday!
We had the Crabtree's over on Sunday for his family party.

He wanted ravioli for dinner and snickerdoodles for dessert.

Ready to open presents on his birthday!

He got lots of different kinds of Rubik's cubes. All but one present was had to do with cubes.

Trying  out his new cubes and cube mat.

Handsome kid!

He wanted to go to Deft in Tacoma for an hour.

It was lots of fun!

The obstacle courses were great!

We went to Cafe Rio for lunch.

After we went home and he played video games and with his cubes and went to soccer practice. He wanted to eat dinner at home and have Grandma Dance's enchiladas. I think this was the first non-Sunday birthday in which someone chose to eat a meal at home (other than breakfast:))

Then he had his last basketball game of the year.

He wanted peanut butter balls for dessert and then Doug let him stay up until midnight playing video games.

It was a great day celebrating a great kid!
