Wonka

Mackenzie had her Wonka themed dance recital on June 1st. She was a Blueberry (ballet),  Bubblegum(jazz), and she also got an extra part as a Golden Ticket. She did a great job and loved every moment of performing!

 The night before we had a long 3.5 hour dress rehearsal.

I always sign up to chaperone because I want to be able to record her dances. 

Golden Tickets

The Golden Tickets danced with the Wonka Bars.

The rest of the pictures are from performance day. She had two performances. I went to both. Doug and the boys, my mom, and Cam all came to the second one. 

Kenzie was so excited to receive the 5 year award. She's been looking forward to it since her first year dancing. She received a picture of her from her first recital.

We found Kenzie during intermission so Cam and Grandma could say hi since they weren't going to stay after the finale when all the awards were given.

She received the 5 year award for the second recital too :)

Pokemon

The boys play Pokemon most days, often in the morning. Most of the money they get is spent on Pokemon cards. 

Playing with the Neighbors

The kids have been playing outside with the neighborhood kids a lot lately.  They used to mostly play basketball or Four Square, but then Jackson convinced them to play soccer in our backyard so they do that a lot too.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday at Johnny Rockets.

Memorial Day

We swam and my parents house for the first time this year on Memorial day while my dad and Doug golfed. We went to the Mariners' game that evening. It was a great day!

Coleman is always hoping one of the outfielders will through him a ball.

Mackenzie was hot so she sat in the shade on the ground until the sun wasn't shining on us.

Coleman (and probably all kids everywhere) love the hat trick and hydro race.

Dominoes

The kids (especially Mackenzie and Coleman) have been playing with dominoes a lot lately.
