My new toys

Doug got me a mini Super Nintendo for Christmas! It has a bunch of games loaded on to it. So now I spend my nights playing Super Mario World. I've almost beaten it!

I also got a new phone. My phone was having awful reception and I was going threw my minutes faster so it made sense for Doug and I to do a plan together. I finally upgraded to a smart phone. I was just going to get a flip phone, but this one was cheaper (and we would have had to go to Target to get the flip phone) and it mostly fits in my pocket. I'm excited to have a camera always with me. And it will be helpful to look use Google Maps, although I will probably still often use my car GPS since it's easier to see while driving.

Globetrotters

We went to see the Harlem Globetrotters the day after Christmas. The kids loved it! Kenzie was not excited to go to a basketball game. When she realized it was much more than just basketball, she loved it.

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids all were awake by 7, which I think is the first time they have all been awake by then. Usually Coleman sleeps in a little longer. They all came in our room and watched some Christmas video clips while I read the scriptures by myself. Then I read the Christmas story to them. Then we all went downstairs.
Jackson's presents!

Mackenzie's presents!

Jordan's presents!

Coleman's presents.

Excited for their presents. Mackenzie was really excited for her new puppy!

Coleman really, really, really wanted another fidget spinner (because 2 wasn't enough:)) He found one in his stocking!

Jackson and Coleman got Kenzie Pokemon balls and figures. She loved them!

Coleman loved his present from Jackson.

On Christmas Eve at church Uncle Keith asked Jordan what he thought he was getting, and Jordan said he thought he was getting a pan. He thought this orange sled was a cookie sheet. :) It did feel like one!

Jordan was the first to finish opening his presents. But then we realized that he never opened the present from Jackson and Mackenzie. He couldn't find it so we had him gather his wrapping paper and put it over in the wrapping paper pile on the other side of the room. We still couldn't find it. But then I searched the wrapping paper he gathered up and found it in there. It was wide receiver gloves so it was small and squishy and he just thought it was wrapping paper :)

Pokemon cards!

Jordan loved his present.

Kenzie got an Ash (from Pokemon) costume. The mask is pretty fun. She also got this new church jacket and she loves it. Way more than I thought she would. I just wanted her to wear it to church instead of her regular jackets, but she wants to wear it all the time now.

Reading her new Billie B. Brown book.

Showing Jack his Pokemon cards.

My and Doug's presents.

Doug started opening his presents quick this year! Right as soon as the kids were done.

The boys all got Nerf guns and were so excited to play with them.

I found a couple more presents that Kenzie didn't notice she hadn't opened yet.

Doug loved his presents from the kids.

Kenzie and Jordan got him a tie together, but I think Kenzie missed the tackle hugging because she was upstairs. Or changing into her full Ash costume.

Ready to catch all the Pokemon!

Kenzie made me a present and wrapped it and made this card. She kept in her room until Christmas then ran upstairs to get it for me.

It was this adorable snowman! She is too cute!

Doug with his presents!

Coleman using Doug's new back scratchers.

I found a few more presents that Kenzie hadn't opened. She always has a few more I find when I clean up the wrapping paper and boxes :)

Glasses!

Jack playing electronic football. This is what he wanted most for Christmas.

Jordan got a Knex gun that he had to build to be able to use.

Cute new puppy calendar.

All of Doug's new clothes. Although, you can't see his new space socks.

We go so much snow!

We all went out and played in it. Coleman made a huge ball.

Kenzie ready to sled.

Jordan sledding.

Doug and Jackson had lots of snowball fights.

Jackson

Coleman's snowman. I thought it would be huge after the first ball he made, but he ended up making the other 2 balls much smaller :) Kenzie helped him add the finishing touches.

Kenzie made a seat, and when I asked her to sit on it so I could take a picture, it broke.

She was sad, but Doug quickly jumped in to help her.

She has her seat again!

Jordan trying to snowboard.

Jordan left a big a snowball in the drive way. I told him he had to move it. So he started to kick and jump on it.

Jackson threw a snowball right in Doug's face as Doug was sledding down the hill. Doug got him back:)

Kenzie made lots of snow angels.

Coleman used his snowman as a shield.  Later he used the head and middle part of body to throw at Jackson.

All the boys went out back to play tackle football.

Cute girl!

That afternoon my parents and the Crabtrees came over. We played Yahtzee and watched football. Then we went to my parents' house and ate dinner there. The Crabtrees didn't come there; they went to Konrad's parents' house for dinner. After dinner we played games, and did my mom's new Christmas puzzle. It was a great day! And as always, it went by way too fast!
