Hawaii Day 25

Today is our last day. We go home tomorrow. It was the Kenyon's last day too. The Crabtrees leave Friday and my parents leave Saturday. We spent the morning at Hukilau. Again, there were not jelly fish and the weather was perfect.
Kimber and Sam got in right away.

Each day we go to Hukilau Jordan asks if he can walk. Today he finally was able to. Richard walked with him, Kenna, Jack, Alli, and Kenzie.

 He was so excited!

 Sam, Camryn, Ashlee

We spent lots of time in the water.

I'm going to miss this view!

 So will Doug.

Grandpa likes to find the biggest waves to body surf in.

Many of us were sitting on the sand, and we saw a sea turtle swimming so most everyone got in to try to see it close up. I don't think they were able to.

 So beautiful!

Kenzie loves body surfing in the small waves.

Jordan loves the medium sized waves.

Camryn and Colie wanted me to make them lots of sand balls.

Kenzie said she wanted to jump in the hole Sam made. I wanted to take a picture of her mid-jump.

But she barely jumped so I couldn't take a picture fast enough.

Cam and Colie were throwing their sand balls into the hole.

After lunch and some packing we went to Matsumoto's for the last time.
 Coleman, Kenzie, Shell, Nati, Jordan

I called my dad Richard and he looked at me like that. Richard is his first name, but he doesn't go by it.

 Kenna and Jackson

 My handsome husband.

 Alli, Kimber, Sam

 Cam, Nati, Ashlee

My mom, me, Michelle.

After this we said goodbye to the Kenyons. :( That's always the worst part of leaving Hawaii. Then the rest of us split up. Doug, the kids, and I stopped by Kuhuku Grill to get the best food in Hawaii, according to Doug. He loves the Coconut Shrimp. He got it to go and he cooked the rest of us quesadillas at home.

We're watching Hook tonight. Kenzie was standing there watching it with her hands behind her back and Cam stood next to her and put her hands behind her back as well. It was so cute!

It's been such a fun vacation! I'm sad it's over. It's crazy how fast it went! I love that my family does this every few years! Thanks Mom and Dad for the house! And thanks Ashlee for making our meal plan and doing a large portion of the meal prep! And thanks Kenyons for travelling so far to meet us here! I love my family!

Aloha!

Hawaii Day 24

Today we went to Kailua again. Doug and my dad golfed in Kaneohe in the morning and met the rest of us there.
Coleman didn't want anyone but me (or Doug, but Doug was golfing) to get him breakfast so he played with his shapes until I was ready to get him some yogurt.

Jordan wanted me to take another picture.

Shell and Kimber were in the water a long time.  It looked like it was going to start raining soon, but it took awhile. They wanted to stay in until it was done raining. After it started raining it rained for quite awhile. Most of us went in the water to keep warm. It was raining really hard most of the time. It's fun swimming in the rain.

Sam and Kenna spent a lot of time playing in the sand.

They made a kitchen. They made ovens and stoves. They're cooking donuts and chocolate balls.

 They also made a cake.

There was a really low rainbow, right above the water.

Cam and Michelle had a lot of fun playing together.

Doug, Kenzie, and Coleman swam to the buoys.  Kenzie and Colie loved swimming. Actually all my kids did. They all spent most of the time in the water.

Jack was so happy we finally came to Kailua again!

 There was another rainbow.

After we came home Richard found a gigantic toad outside. And he brought it inside. It was so gross.

Tonight we're staying up late and watching High School Musical. It's our last night all together :(
