30

This year I turned 30! I had a great birthday. Doug always is so good at making it a special day for me. He worked all day almost everyday from the middle of January through April and I was expecting him to have to work on my birthday too, but then his work load lessened right before my birthday so he was able to not work at all! We all went shopping in the morning (except Kenzie because she was at preschoo, but Cam was with us instead :)) We at Thai for lunch. Then we came back home to open presents. Then we went bowling. We ate Taco Bell for dinner. I had a volleyball game that night (I think we won 3 out of 4 which is exciting!) I went out for ice cream after volleyball with my mom, sister, and another friend on our volleyball team. And then Doug and I watched a movie that night. It was a fun, busy day!

At preschool the kids each at a turn to bring a "class pet" home. Kenzie got to bring Spot home on my birthday. She loves spot and was so sad the next day when she had to bring him back to preschool. She kept crying all morning. And then she cried before swimming lessons after preschool because she missed him.

My cute kiddos. And Spot:) Jordan is doing his I love you super much sign.

30 candles! I blew them out with one breath!

The Clown

We got a clown costume because it was really cheap on Amazon. Coleman wore it around for a few days. On the morning of the day this picture was taken, Jordan had been wearing it when I got up. He had been doing something he wasn't supposed to, but it was hard to stay serious when he looked like a clown.

The Outback Kangaroo Farm

We went to Arlington again to go to the Outback Kangaroo Farm. It was fun seeing the kangaroos and feeding them again.
3 of my kangaroos. Jordan, Kenzie, Jackson.

Kenzie, Coleman, Jordan

Jackson, Jordan, Coleman

The kids played on the tree swing until it was time to start the tour.

Jordan fed the llama.

Kenzie and Jack feeding a kangaroo.

This one was so big.

There was deer in the area where the kangaroos live. It just wandered there on its own.

Coleman kind of wanted to feed one, but was too nervous to get any closer.

They all got to hold the baby kangaroo.

There were a few peacocks there too.

We stopped at Alfy's on the way home so we could eat some yummy pizza and some very yummy pizzookie. I'm not sure why Coleman looks so unhappy. He really was happy :)

Coulon

We had some nice days in  April and went to Coulon to enjoy the park before school gets out for summer break. Then the park and beach will be crazy busy all the time.
Coleman loves the motorcycles.

Kenzie girl.

Jack had made her into a tiger that morning with face paint.

We also walked around. Before playing at the park we also rode bikes. Although I kept seeing signs that said no bikes. So I don't think we were supposed to be riding on the path. Oops.

The kids found a nice hill to roll down.

After rolling for awhile they played a Mario chasing game from the Wii U. One of them would run around while the other counted for awhile. Then the other would chase the other one. It's a lot like tag:)

Jordan really wanted to go up there. I had the stroller so I let the kids go up and I waited for them at the bottom. There were some girls up there (I think at least one was a missionary, or about to leave on her mission, because I'm pretty sure I saw a name tag on her shirt.) When they saw Kenzie they said she was so cute. After Kenzie came down she told me she wanted to go back up so they would say she was cute again :)

We ended the afternoon with some sand playing.

They are all good at squatting so no one ended up too dirty :)

Kenzie rolled her pants up as high as she could and waded in the water.

Ugly Duckling

Coleman and I went to see The Ugly Duckling. He was excited that "just us" were going. We both really enjoyed the play. We also went to a garage sale at the community center that is next door to the children's theater before the play. He chose some boots at the garage sale. It was a fun day!

He got the Ugly Ducklings autograph.

Coleman getting an autograph from one of the non-ugly ducklings.

Some Pictures from April

Kenzie loves taking pictures of herself:)

Coleman and his cool hair.

We got a new couch for the basement in February or March.! We love it and it is so nice to not have to blow up a couch when we want to watch a movie or play the Wii. And yes, Jordan is wearing a super girl costume.

Spring Break

My friend and I took these 11 kids to the science center. I'm sure we were quite the sight to see :) It was a little crazy at times keeping track of everyone. It was a pretty busy day since it was spring break. My friend's son, Wyatt, didn't want to stand with the other kids. He's off by the pole ;)

We watched Alli and Cam for the week, which is why they came with us. We saw a laser show, and Camryn fell asleep on my lap during it. It was kind of amazing considering how loud it was in there. All the kids loved the show. It was my kids first one and they said they want to go to one every time they go to the Science Center.

Colie did some creating.

He made a shield.

My kids love, love, love Alli and they all play together so well (unless they don't want to play house. Kenzie is always so sad when that happens.) They started making a Frozen play. They wrote out the scenes they wanted to do, made costumes, made some of the set, and practiced for awhile until they were bored of it. It takes a long time to recreate an hour and half long movie :)

This is where Cam always drank her morning bottle. One day I put her on the chair, because the couch was too sunny. I thought she wouldn't like the sun in her eyes. But then she pointed to the couch and wanted to lay there, in her spot to drink her bottle.

Cute sisters.

Jordan, Alli, Camryn, Coleman

After having several days off of working, Jackson wasn't too happy when I asked him to do the dishes, especially since that's Jordan's normal job. :)

Alli wanted to do some sewing while she was here. She made this eye mask and the blanket (which she didn't actually sew, she just cut it)

Alli and Cam dancing.

We went to My Gym for the practice and play time. Cam jumped on the trampoline.

They both had fun playing.

Cam wanted to go in there. I thought it was funny that instead of going through one of the bigger openings, she squished under the very bottom, which was probably about half a foot high.

Coleman started writing his name! He has a song that helps him remember how to spell it. It's cute how excited he gets when he sings it :)

Alli made some pajama pants too. They turned out really cute!

And I made Kenzie some new shorts.
