Cousins and Snow!

We've had Alli and Cam here this weekend.
Jack was being boring and didn't want to do an art project.

I made him do it with us anyways.

Making 3D flowers (Jack's is the orange and green one)

Coleman wouldn't do the art project... He was waiting for the bread machine to beep so he could help me make bread for dinner. (I didn't make him do it, because he hasn't done most of the projects on that art dvd, but Jackson has done them all so far)

It's been snowing this weekend! So crazy! It snowed a little on Friday and then has been lightly snowing much of today.

And they even sent us home early from church because it was snowing so much. The roads have been clear though. It is supposed to be really cold tonight so all the roads might freeze tonight.

Kenzie and Alli have been playing a duet all weekend.

It sounds great!

So much snow (for Washington, especially at the beginning of November:))!

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween!
The kids were disappointed to have to do homeschool on a holiday. But they liked doing this Halloween art project.

We went to Kent Station to Trick or Treat first. We met our friends, the Ramsays, there.
An emoji, banana, Mario, puppy.

The Ramsays make amazing costumes. Mikah was a man carrying his head in a jar. He won first prize in the costume contest for his age group.

Tucker was a person going to the bathroom in a port a potty being carried by someone else. I didn't get a picture of the other side where you could see the person (made with clothes and a balloon and Tucker's legs) carrying it. He also won first prize for his age group.

Cassidy was Medusa. They made each of those snakes out of foam and wire. Her eyes are closed in this picture, but they painted on some Medusa eyes. So creepy!

After Kent Station we came home and trick or treated in our neighborhood with my mom and the Ramsays. The kids got lots of candy!

Every Halloween she's the first one who's ready to be done trick or treating, which is surprising because she loves treats so much! She didn't even go to the last few houses, other than the very last one because it was her friend Phoenix's house.

Coleman's favorite part of Halloween is giving candy to the trick or treaters who come to our house. We had more than I expected us to. At first the kids were them huge handfuls, but then we were running out of candy and they had to give less. One group was pretty big and we ran out of candy in our give bag so Kenzie grabbed a handful of her candy to give to the last kid.

Jackson sorted his candy.

Doug trying the sucker that Jackson and Jordan both said was disgusting.

Everyone wanted to see what he thought.... He agreed with the boys.

Colie kept saying "Mama mia"

I love this kid!

Pumpkins

We finally bought and carved pumpkins on Halloween Eve.
The kids did most of their own carving with only a little help from Doug and me.

He made a winking face.

And a dollar sign winking face on the other side.

Jordan put each carved piece back in it's hole. It looked great!

He looked so cute while posing that I had to take an extra picture of him:)

Soccer Ends

Soccer ended last week. We are both happy and sad to be done. We like soccer season, but it's getting cold :)
Jordan's last practice was a team and coach vs parents and siblings game. The parents and siblings crushed the team. But Jordan said the team still one because the parents/siblings' goals only counted for 1/100 of a point :)

Kenzie was the only girl out there!

Kenzie, Jordan, Coleman

The last day of games was a beautiful, perfect day. It was warm and sunny.
We told Coleman to play like he did at Jordan's practice. He was going after the ball even when Jordan's coach had the ball. He did seem to play a lot harder in his game too.

His team.

His coach giving him his medal.

Jordan's game was next.

He played great, but is team lost by a lot. The other team was amazing and worked together really well.

Jordan's team.

Coach Josh giving Jordan his trophy. He said Jordan always has a smile on his face and has really great footwork.

Mackenzie's game was last. It was against the other team that is really good. These two teams overlapped practices this season and so they scrimmaged for 20-30 minutes each week. It was great for them to get a lot of practice game time in. They tied in this game. Kenzie's team won all of their other games. It was fun seeing a lot of the same girls stay together and work together better.

Kenzie getting her award from coach Eric. He said she played great defense and even scored several goals while on defense.

The team.

Silly faces.

Group hug!
