Sno King

We went ice skating yesterday with a bunch of friends. We had a great time! We realized we need to make sure we go skating more often because we all enjoy it.

Coleman and Thane

Jordan, Mikah, Kenzie, Aubree, Cassidy, Tucker, Coleman, and Jackson

Silly faces!

Erin snapped this picture of Robyn and I taking a picture of the kids:)

The next few are pictures Erin sent me too.

At the beginning Coleman was holding my hand the whole time, but after awhile he was just skating around by himself. He had a few falls, but kept getting back up.

This all happened because Bryce wanted to go skating with us for his birthday.

Science Center

We went to the Science Center last week with some friends. We had a great time!
The kids are always fascinated by the mirrors.

We wanted to get good seats for the Live Science Show so we got there a little early

Aubree, Kenzie, and Nellie

Violin Group Class

Jackson had a performance for group class a couple weeks ago. They sounded great together!

Doug's Birthday!

The kids decorated for Doug's birthday while Doug and I were at his church basketball game.

The first thing he did on his birthday was sleep in :)

Then opened his presents.

We got him a tiny snow shovel. I wasn't expecting it be so short. But it should work for our needs. And if it's too small for him to use comfortably, we can just have the kids use it :)

These kids love their dad!

Next we all played Super Smash Bros together.

Then we played catch in the backyard.

And then back to Super Smash Bros.

Doug in his new golf shirt. We also got him and Oki card which gives his 6 rounds of golf and some of Washington's best course! (or so I've heard.)

We went to Olive Garden for an early dinner since we had soccer, volleyball, and young mens that night. (I was going to skip volleyball since the game was at 6:10 and I didn't want to make Doug have soccer duty on his birthday, but half my team was already going to be gone for various reasons and Doug said he was fine with me going. I dropped the kids off at soccer and he just picked them up later, so he didn't really have to stay there the whole time or anything.)

More video games.

Ashlee gave Doug his very own "Doug's favorite dessert" at the family party so that is what he had on his birthday.

We are so happy to have a day to celebrate Doug. He's a great husband and father, and the kids and I are happy he's ours!

Sick Coleman

Pour Coleman was sick a couple weeks ago and we had to miss my Mom's 60th and Doug's 36th family birthday party. I had to be nice and let Doug go since it was his party. Coleman and I had a good time together, though. We watched Moana :)

Flying Circus

We met up with some homeschool friends at the Flying Circus. We expected it to be just an indoor trampoline play area, but it was so much more! The kids loved it and were so disappointed when it was time to go home.

Such a fun group of kids!

Mariners' Opening Night

Coleman and I got to go to the Mariners' Opening Night game. It was so fun! The weather was perfect, and the Mariners scored a lot of run and won!
Grandma and Coleman. We rode with my mom and dad so we got their at the same time.

We got to watch batting practice. Coleman wasn't a fan of getting their so early. He kept asking why we had to. I explained we needed to find parking and that we wanted to see all the pregame festivities.

Once it was the fifth inning he kept looking at my dad waiting for treat time. He was so happy when it finally happened. He got a vanilla shake. They had to wait a long time in line, but he thought it was worth it.

He was just so cute in his hat all night. And he was really into giving peace signs :)

There were lots of home runs hit so we had lots of celebrating to do. Coleman really loves baseball and was into the game the whole time. It was so fun to take him! I love my baseball loving boy!

Arizona Part 2

On Thursday is when most of the cousins arrived
Jordan helped my dad do some yard work. He loved it!

Michelle, Kallie, Nicolas, and Kimberly.

Jackson set up a corn hole tournament. It was pretty fun because by the end the kids were all sitting on the sidelines. They would cheer so loudly for the person they wanted to win (pretty much anyone in the Riding family :))

It was so great to spend Grandma's 92nd birthday with her!

Grandma with all the grandkids that came. Derek, Michelle, Me, Lindsey, Julie, Kim (with Gracie), Kallie, and Ashlee.

Grandma and her three daughters: My mom, Nancy, and Sue.

Ashlee put together a book with pictures of Grandma's kids, and grandkids, and great grandkids. It was really great!

There were also some picture of Grandma and Grandpa.

Gracie is so cute and happy!

Mackenzie hanging around.

Everyone enjoying warm Arizona.

The Kenyons were the first to leave :(

Dad and Doug had to play Hearts.

Mackenzie was so exhausted that she fell asleep on the couch at Nancy's house. she just put herself to bed (even though we were sleeping at Grandma's house.)

Coleman and me.

We finally did some puzzles Sunday and Monday.

Kenzie drew this picture to express her sadness at Nati leaving.

Jackson made a miniature golf course in  Grandma's backyard. It was pretty fun!

Ashlee and Grandma

We left Monday night. We ended up being on the same flight as the Crabtrees, which was fun. Even though we didn't see them on the plane. We did get to hang out with them at the airport :)

The kids were so exhausted they all slept in on Tuesday. Even Coleman. He slept until about 8:30 (which is an hour or  two later than normal.)

It was such a fun vacation! Doug's ready to become snowbirds and love down there half the year.
