Last Baseball Games

The boys had their last baseball games in the middle of June. They were both sad to be done. But we're all excited for next year when they can be on the same team again! We'll probably have them do Little League next year. Jackson read the Little League Rule Book recently and is really excited to play Little League because he knows all the rules :)

Another Lost Tooth For Jordan and Silly Jackson

Jordan lost another tooth. I thought he had already lost that one and the other one on top that he lost a couple months ago. I guess I need to pay better attention to the teeth he's losing.

And here's some silly Jackson:

Kangaroo Farm

We went to another Kangaroo Farm. This one was bigger, had more animals, and we liked it better.
Jordan and Kenzie

Me, Jordan, Jackson, and Kenzie in the background

Jordan, me, Jackson, Coleman. I love how Coleman is putting his whole head through the hole.

Jackson and the lemurs.

There was a baby lemur that was just 6 weeks old.  He was so cute and tiny. He's with his mom in the picture.

We went in with all the wallabies and kangaroos. They were mostly wallabies.

There was also a giant tortoise.

Coleman loves rocks. He loves to find them wherever we are and hold them. He calls them "my rocks." and wants to bring the them home with us.

Kenzie wanted to feed one, but was really nervous to do it.

She was so excited after I helped her feed one.

Getting more food from our tour guide.

She did it on her own!

Jack worked up enough courage to feed some too. Jordan didn't want to.

There's a baby in this mama's pouch.

Kenzie feeding a goat.

Cute Kenzie.

We saw a mini horse. He's mean though and we couldn't near him. The owner asked the horse if he wanted to kick us and the horse nodded :)

We also saw an ostrich and and emu.

And fed llamas. Apparently they like to eat from people's mouths. None of my kids (or me!) wanted to do it. Gross!

This is another courageous friend.

Kenzie did want to pet the llama.

She loved holding the baby kangaroo.

Petting it softly.

Jackson held him too.

The kids played on swings in front of the farm that all hung on a huge tree. Then, since we were in Arlington, we all went out to lunch at Alfy's Pizza. We used to go there with Michelle when she lived in Granite Falls. And they used to have one in Puyallup, but it closed down. They have a yummy pizza cookie. (although I must admit The Rock's is better... I love pizza cookies!)

Snow Cone Stand and Wild Waves

Jordan set up a snow cone stand one warm Saturday. He was disappointed he didn't have a lot of customers. He wanted to put signs up all over the neighborhood to advertise. He sold some to Doug, Jackson, Mackenzie, and me. And a guy who was landscaping a yard in our neighborhood came over and bought 1 for himself and one for a guy he was working with. Jordan was excited because he paid $2 instead of the $.50 they cost.

Wild Waves opened at the beginning of June! (well really it's been open longer but just on the weekends, and just the rides.) We went the first afternoon it opened. The kids were so excited! It was fun to be back.
Kenzie was so excited to ride her favorite ride from last year.

She still loves it!

Coleman didn't want to ride it. I didn't realize at first that he is big enough for it this year.

Colie was excited about the cars.

And the boats.

Jordan is 48 inches this year. Jackson is not. 48 inches is the magical height that allows a child to go on any ride. Some rides you can ride if you're above a certain height (usually 42 in) if you're with an adult (or someone taller.) Sometimes they let Jackson ride with Jordan. It just depends on the employee at the ride. On this day all the employees were nice about it. The boys were excited to ride the Ferris Wheel.

Coleman is 36 in this year and can ride all the same rides as Kenzie!

He loves the spaceship ride and he loves going up high.

Kenzie and Colie rode the Safari ride.

while the boys rode the Scrambler. We have found out since this first day back that Kenzie and Colie can both ride it with me. So as long as we have an nice employee who will let Jackson ride with Jordan we can all ride this ride at the same time. The Scrambler was one of my favorite rides when I was little and I still love it.

I forgot to put Coleman's shoes on him. Luckily Kenzie had some in the car that fit well enough. He didn't mind the pink/rainbow shoes :)

Colie and me waiting for the boys to do the Kanga Bounce

Kenzie waited too.

Jack and Jordan.

Coleman is big enough for the train ride.

And the airplane ride.

Then we went in the water even though it was kind of cold that day:

I told the boys I'd give them a dollar to go down the slide. They both did it. I was hoping it would show them how much fun it was and that they'd want to do it all summer, but so far they haven't had much interest in it.

Jordan seems to like the slides more than Jackson. Either that or he just doesn't mind the cold water as much as Jackson does :)
