About the kids...

Coleman says "Time for dinner" quite often. He says it when we're playing in the play kitchen in the basement, or if he sees me cooking in the real kitchen, or when he hears me say it. He says it the same way I do. :)

Coleman also yell "Jack! Vitamins!" when I pull the vitamins out.

Coleman loves playing Duck, Duck, Goose. He just walks around the circle saying duck, but never says goose unless we tell him to.

Coleman says no when he doesn't want to do something. He says it really cutely :)

Mackenzie has a thinking face, that I need to take a picture of. It's so cute :)

Jackson told Jordan "I have darker skin than you because I was born in a warmer state." haha

One night Jordan was yelling for me to come in his room shortly after he'd been put to bed. He told me daddy didn't remind him to say his personal prayer and he wanted me to stay in the room with him while he said it. He told me he was going to say it in his head because he didn't know what to say. I told him he had to say words in his head for the prayer. He said "I know. My brain knows what to say. My brain is so smart!"

A couple months ago we went to dinner at a friends' apartment. This week Kenzie and I went to drop off dinner to different friends who just had a baby who live in the same apartment complex. When we were finding a parking spot Kenzie asked if this was Brother and Sister's house. I was a little confused at first, until I realized that she thought our other friends' names were Brother and Sister, like in the Bernstein Bears books. It still makes me laugh :)

Jordan found a sweater that I think might have been left here from the the family reunion. It's a yellow button up one that goes over a dress, or shirt. He thought it was just a shirt for him and put it on as a shirt. I wish I would have got a picture of him in. He love button up shirts :)

Jordan came in our room tonight (after he was supposed to be in bed...) and told me that he was happy that I stay home with them and don't ever go to work.

Today Jackson was telling me that he was going take off his socks to jump on the trampoline because the trampoline was wet. Then he said he usually likes to keep them on because "socks are my buds."

Coleman likes to say ta-da when he does something he thinks is pretty cool. Like balancing something on top of something else or standing on something. I love it. :)

Science Center

We went to the Science Center on Saturday. There was a new exhibit we wanted to check out. We spent all day there and had a great time.
It was finally warm enough to do the outside water stuff that we've only done for a few minutes before because it's usually cold when we're here.

I remember loving the water wheel when I was little.

This was in the new exhibit.

They took pictures of themselves then put on new features.

We races blocks of wood.

Made and flew paper airplanes.

walked around on these. Different pictures would come on it and our steps would do different things. Like make bubbles, move balloons, make fireworks. The kids did it for awhile.

We ate at the mall. Kenzie was excited for the little tables and chairs. Actually all the kids were :)

T-ball Party

The boys had their t-ball party last Thursday at McDonald's. They were excited to get their trophies!

And here's just a picture of Doug and me:)

Chuck E. Cheese

I had originally though that we would go to Chuck E. Cheese on Coleman's birthday, but it was supposed to be nice that day and rainy the next day. Doug was taking both days off and since he won't be able to go to Wild Waves very much we decided to do Wild Waves on Colie's birthday. We decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese the next day.
Colie loved this game. He loves throwing balls!

I was so sad when I realized I forgot to put his birthday boy shirt on him on his birthday. So I put I put it on him this day.

And we got a fun present from the Kenyons! He loves cars!

All about Coleman

I love when my kids are 2. 18 months to about 2 1/2 is my very favorite age, but I really like 1-3 too. Everything Coleman does is so cute. Other than scream. I don't really like that :) This is what he's like:
About 26 lbs
Talks a lot. Here are some of my favorite things he says:
Whoa! Awesome!,
Time for dinner,
We're home!,
'scuse me (for excuse me),
Thank you (he'll say "thank you, water" sometimes when we give him water),
on his birthday when we said happy birthday he'd happy birthday back to us,
I love you mommy,
Wee, Fun!
Cha Cha Hi-ya Pizza!
My turn or Colie turn.
He loves playing in water.
He doesn't like to try new foods very much.
He loves Dora and Diego.
He loves playing with cars and balls.
He loves building towers.
He also likes shape toys and has started doing them really well by himself lately.
He can kind of count with me. He knows some of the numbers that come after other ones :)
When he gets hurt he'll usually cry until I say "Are you okay?" then he says "yeah." and is fine.
He still loves oatmeal for breakfast.
He loves pasta, pizza, and sandwiches.
He also loves all kinds of berries.
He doesn't really like his hands to be messy.
He cute and loved so much by all of us!

Coleman turns 2!

Coleman had his 2nd birthday. I can't believe my baby is so big. And he's so sweet and cute and lovable. We had a great day on his birthday. Doug took the day off and we went to Wild Waves (we have season passes). We came home for naptime and then had a family birthday party that night after dinner.

We started the day off with a cuddle. Sometimes when he wants to get up earlier than I'm ready to get up, I'll bring him in bed and he'll cuddle with me for awhile. I love it!

Heading to Wild Waves

They have a section of rides just for little kids and some of the rides Colie's big enough to ride on. I thought he would be into them, but he wasn't. He wouldn't get on any of them.

 The other kids loved them!

The nice thing is that my kids are all under 48 inches so none of them can do the bigger rides so we can just stay at the little kid rides and everyone is happy :)

Colie was happy being held.

Doug tried to ride with Coleman on this ride, but Coleman didn't want to.

When we went a couple weeks ago, Kenzie rode this ride but she wouldn't make it fly up high because she was too afraid. Later that day she went in an airplane ride with Jordan and he made it go up high. I was afraid she would scream, but she liked it. When we went on the ride on Colie's birthday she was flying high the whole time and loving it.

Jordan was excited to ride on the roller coaster with Doug. There are some rides that you have to ride with an adult if you're not tall enough, and since I'll usually becoming with the kids without Doug (since he has to work...) they won't be able to ride on these rides very often.

Last year Kenzie rode the Froghopper and hated it. She refused to go on it when we came before, but since she liked other high rides, she wanted to try this one.

She was pretty nervous once it started going up high.

 Then she was happy...

Scared...

Happy. She loved it and he and Jack rode on it again later. It's Jack's favorite ride.

Doug took the boys on the boat ride. Jackson was nervous about it.

And said he didn't like it when it was over. Jordan loved it though.

Coleman did ride on the Merry-Go-Round. He was happy because I could hold him on my lap the whole time.

Jordan rode with us.

And Jackson. Kenzie was riding on a horse and Doug was with her.

Jordan and Doug went on the Kangaroo. This is one that Jordan can't ride by himself.

After rides we went in the water. The kiddie pool water is freezing! Coleman didn't want to touch it at all. Jordan was proud of himself for going down the yellow slide. There's a big bucket of cold water that pours on the kids from the top of the play thing so Jordan timed his sliding perfectly so he wouldn't get the water poured on him.

Then we went to the wave pool. The kids love it best here. They were practicing their swimming there.

Coleman jumped the waves with me.

Kenzie warming up.

We found a butterfly. (it's on the ground)

Coleman fell asleep on the way home. He still took a good nap at home, luckily.

Doug, Kenzie, Colie, Sam ready for the family party.

Coleman was actually into opening his presents. Kenzie had told me before the party that she would help him if he couldn't do it himself. She was disappointed he could :)

He was so excited for all of his presents.

I got all his presents at the Lakeland Hills Garage sale. I only spend $7.50. It was a record for me :)

Grandma and Grandpa Crabtree came.

Jack, Kenzie, Colie, Kimber

Grandma Dance had left a present for Coleman and part of it was these blower things. Sam discovered that she could blow it with her nose.

The other kids has to try it out.

Alli's trying it in the background :)

He did great blowing out his candles. He was pretty amazed after the first one blew out.

And was excited to blow out the second one.

He didn't want any of his cake though. He just wanted to play with his new toys!
