Coleman is 3! I can't believe he's so big! We had a fun day celebrating him!
First we went to Wild Waves. It was cold and cloudy so we didn't do the water. But the kids had fun on the rides.
We usually ride the Merry Go Round first.
Coleman and our friend Melia.
Kenzie and Coleman.
Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and to play.
Colie loves to play "basketball shoot."
He made a lot of baskets too.
This is Kenzie's favorite ride.
Handsome boy.
Another handsome boy.
Then we went home and played. Coleman's favorite thing to do lately is to build a tower and knock it down by throwing a ball at it.
When Doug got home Coleman opened presents.
He got a bubble lawn mower.
Jack chose bubbles for Coleman.
Jordan chose a fishing puzzle.
He got a submarine.
We went outside so he could try out his bubble lawn mower.
We sang him happy birthday.
And he blew out his candles.
Here's some things about Coleman:
He says "just kidding" a lot.
He loves to be praised.
When he can't find something or someone he says it's "yots" (lost.)
He loves me to do most things for him and with him. He often follows me around.
He loves the number 4 and always wants to listen to number 4 of whatever cd we're listening to.
He wants me to feed him his oatmeal everyday. I do it because if I don't he doesn't eat and if he does eat, he doesn't eat very much. Then he's grumpy. And he takes a long time to eat.
He's a very picky eater. He eats: yogurt, raspberries, strawberries, peanut butter sandwiches and crackers, fishies, Froot Loops, graham crackers, ritz crackers, animal crackers, oatmeal, pirate booty, pizza, quesadillas, bread, and sometimes pasta and couscous. There may be more, but that's pretty close to all he'll eat. He refuses to eat chicken, rice, vegetables and most everything else :) He also doesn't like sweets. He gets upset if we say we're going to eat ice cream and says "I don't like ice cream!"
He doesn't like foods he doesn't like to be on his plate.
He often says "I like you," "I love you," "and "you're my friend" to me. It makes me happy every time. And it's always so sincere. He says it to Doug and the kids sometimes too :)
He loves nursery at church.
He eats yogurt for snack every night.
He loves to watch the vitamin song (from youtube I think) at night before bed.
He only ever wants me to get him ready for bed and put him bed, but Doug can show him the vitamin song.
He likes to sit with Doug at church. I pull him on my lap when he's being too loud and tell him he can only sit with daddy if he'll be quiet.
He doesn't like to walk very far.
He likes to ride his scooter.
He's very stubborn.
He knows some colors, and some letters and their sounds.
He loves being silly and making people laugh.
He loves Mickey Mouse.
He's done napping.
He loves to play sports.
He loves making people laugh and being the center of attention.
When he says "you" he usually points to the person he's talking to.
He's particular about who he likes and who is friends are. If I ask if likes someone or if they're his friend he usually says no.
He's super cute and we all love him!
