Crazy Kids!

He found the face paint. Then he turned himself into a werewolf.

2 werewolves.

So scary!

Soccer!

Soccer actually started! I had given up hope that it would, but the governor said we play. The kids all had practice. All but Coleman have practice twice a week. Jackson and Kenzie both practice a half hour away on different days. Luckily, Coleman and Jordan play close by. It was a very busy week though! It's worth it though so they can play. And I love watching them play.
Kenzie was the first to have practice. This is the first time she has had a coach besides Coach Eric. And she knows none of the girls on her team. She's really excited about her team though and says everyone is so good! (She's the one on the left in all grey, I think)

I picked Jordan up from practice that night.

Jackson practiced the next day. He's the green one. He knows a couple kids on the team. One that was on his team last year, and one that did robotics with him in 6th grade and played on them middle school soccer team in 7th grade. There's also a kid that was on Jordan's team several years ago.

I picked Coleman up after Jack's practice. His team was running when I got there and Coleman was coming in first a lot. He doesn't usually, so it was fun to see him running so fast:)

Jack's team practiced closer to me for his second practice. They did mini 3 on 3 scrimmages the whole time, and Jack was with both the kids he knew and they were crushing the other team. They all have great ball skills and passing skills and Jackson has played with them both. So they were all scoring a ton. It was fun for me to watch:)

Snickers!

On Sunday after church we came home and set up the litter box and cage for the bunny. Then we went to pick her up and bring her home!
Kenzie decided to name her Snickers!

Cam came with us too.

On the way home.

I reminded them they could take their masks off :)

Her new home. She was pretty terrified for awhile. We were all in there staring at her.

We decided to put her in the cage and see if that made her feel a little less scared.

But she still seemed scared so I had everyone leave and go eat lunch. After awhile she seemed less scared and started moving around.

I had read that you should just leave bunnies alone for the first 48 hours so they get comfortable in their new homes. We decided after about 24 we'd open the cage and see if she wanted to come out.

It took awhile, but she finally came out and explored her play area.

After awhile we let Kenzie go in with her. Kenzie is great bunny owner. She really just wants her to be happy so she doesn't try to hold her much or make her do things.

Next we let Cam go in with her.

And then Coleman

She's so cute!

Alli and Sam came over to pick up Cam and see the bunny. Alli loved holding her and was very gentle with her.

On Tuesday we brought her downstairs.

She slipped around a lot on the hard floor and spent most the day in boxes.

Colie finally held her!

and Jackson!

On Wednesday we got a tarp for her and put her by the window with a bigger space. She was so happy in there. She seems to be happiest and most full of energy in the morning. Bunnies do a jump called binkies when they are so happy and she often does them in the morning.

Doug brought our window ac unit pipe down for her to use as a tunnel. She loves it! We weren't sure if she'd fit through it, but she did.

Kenzie and Coleman did some of their homeschool in with Snickers. She climbed around their notebooks.

She's so cute when she drinks her water.

I wish she wanted to be held all the time. Because then I would hold her all the time :) Well, whenever I wasn't doing something else:)

Kenzie's friend Jenna came over and they played with the bunny. We brought her outside for the first time. After Jenna and her brothers left Snickers kept to herself the rest of the day. We think it was a little too stressful for her to have them around her.

Once she showed us that she was using her litter box consistently we brought out this little house for her.

Yesterday we cleaned out her littler boxes. We should only need to once a week. My house definitely smells different now, but I think it's just the hay. I'm not a fan of it, but the rest of my family doesn't seem to mind.

Yesterday we made a maze for her in the basement. She loved it! Kenzie brought her down again this morning to and said Snickers was doing lots of binkies.

We didn't think she'd climb over the edges, but she did a few times. She usually doesn't climb/jump on things that height, but was curious enough yesterday that she did.

So far, being bunny owners is going well. Kenzie is so happy to have a bunny. Sometimes Kenzie is sad because she thinks Snickers isn't happy. I try to reassure that Snickers is happy and shows lots of signs of happiness.

Back to Church!

We finally started church again! We had about a 40 minute sacrament meeting. Our ward will go I think 2 times a month split into two groups. We're in the a-l group at go at 9. The other group goes at 11. We sat in every other row and spread out.  Our family was the biggest group. There were a lot of couples or single people there and not as many families with kids. For the sacrament Jack, Jordan, and 2 adults walked between the rows and had a separate bowl to collect the water and bread cups (they put the bread in cups.) I loved being back!

Fun with Cam

Cam spent a weekend with us. We loved having her here!
We picked up hay for the bunny!

Cam and Ashlee had finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that morning so these kids watched the movie! She loved it. Cam had insisted that Ashlee finish reading it to her by the time she came over so they could watch it together. She knows how obsessed my kids are with it:)

More Pictures

Jordan made a wreath out of perler beads.

The kids and I watched Conference. I really enjoyed it all :)

Jackson doing some perler beads.

This is a picture of Kenzie's bunny! We'll pick her up on Sunday!

Jordan and I did some reading and school work outside so we could enjoy the warmth while we can.

Kenzie lost 2 teeth on Tuesday! She's lost 5 in the last couple months.
