Here is a video of Jackson playing with Jordan. I was making Jack's lunch this afternoon when Jack started laughing. This is what I found him doing.

Snow

Last night during dinner we looked out the window and noticed it had started snowing. Doug and I couldn't believe it was actually snowing. We thought we had left spring snow in Utah... but apparently not. It continued to snow throughout the night. We woke up to a couple inches in the backyard. Jackson had never played in the snow before, so I asked him if he wanted to. And he excitedly said "yes, yes!" (which he says quite often and is my new favorite saying of his). But once I pulled out all of his snow clothes and started dressing him to go outside, he started getting less excited. But I finally got him all ready and we went outside. He didn't want to touch the snow and was a little hesitant to walk in it. But he liked being outside and playing with bubbles and drawing on the cement.

Easter

Here are some pictures from Easter.

Jackson loved coloring the Easter eggs. He also colored his legs, tummy, hands, and feet.

Jackson also loved finding the eggs on Easter morning. He would get excited everytime he saw one. Jackson also was excited when he found the Easter baskets. He loves playing with the toys he got. We also found a candy that Jackson actually likes to eat. Most candies he only wants because he sees other kids eating them. But the Easter bunny gave him sixlets and Jack liked them so much he asks for them sometimes.

After church we went to my parents' house and ate Easter dinner. Then we had a big Easter egg hunt in the yard. Jackson loved finding the eggs. Although, some of the eggs were a little too dirty for him to touch and he'd say "daddy get it." Jackson is such a clean little boy. He doesn't like to get dirty... and I don't mind at all. Jackson found this egg by the hose. It's even the same color as the hose so it was a little hard to see. The rocks were slippery and Jack needed daddy's help to get the egg.

All the eggs had money inside of them. Jackson was excited to count the money with Doug. He loved playing with it.

Jordan's 1st bath

Check-up

I ventured out of my house today for the first time with my two little boys by myself. Jordan had a check up at the doctor's. It went well. I learned that I have to plan on taking more time to get from the car to wherever I go. Now that I carry Jordan, Jackson has to walk and so I have to walk slower. Jordan did well with the doctor. He only cried when we had to take off his clothes to weigh him... but as soon as I put the blanket around him he was fine. Jack also cried when Jordan cried. He usually does when Jordan cries loudly. He also wanted to be held for awhile. Jordan is back up to 8 lbs after losing about half a pound the first few days of his life. He grew about 2 and 1/2 inches and is now about 21 inches. He's doing good, and the doctor said he's perfect. But I already knew that :)

Cute Pictures

Jordan seems to like tummy time. Jackson hated it until he was strong enough to hold his head up and would cry immediately. But Jordan is always happy for a few minutes on his tummy.

Jackson loves his daddy. He loves playing with him. I think this shows how much he loves Doug. He always is so excited when Doug comes home from work. This picture also shows how much Doug loves Jack. They're so cute together.

Jordan loves to have blankets around him. He usually gets happy when they are put on him. He loves being warm.

Jackson loves his little brother. He's so excited to see him in the morning. He says "baby!" when he first sees him. He loves to give him kisses before he goes to bed. He also loves to tell the baby things. For example, in the car today Jackson saw a truck and he said "Mommy, truck!" Then he said "Baby, truck!" He also told me the sun was in his eyes. Then he told Jordan the same thing. He also likes to try to share his toys withe Jordan. And when Jordan is crying and I tell Jack that he's hungry Jack wants to give him waffles and bananas (two of his favorite foods). He's such a good older brother.

This is a picture of Jackson knocking over the tower. Notice how his hand is in a fist like he's knocking on a door. He knocks towers over the same way that he knocks on doors.

Jackson hugging his shirt-blankie. He found this a few weeks ago when I was putting away the laundry. He saw it sitting on the bed and said "blankie!" He went over to it and pulled it off the bed. Since then he uses it as one of his blankies. He has another blanket that is the same color so I think that is why he called this one blankie too.

We've been trying to decided if Jack and Jordan look like each other. Sometimes I think they do, but other times I don't think they do. What do you guys think? Do they look alike? Can you tell which baby is in each picture?

He's here!

Jordan Clay Dance was born on March 13. He came right on his actual due date. He was born very healthy which we are very grateful for. He weighed 8lbs and is 18 and 3/4 inches long.l He's lost almost half a pound since he was born. All he wanted to do yesterday was sleep. He didn't want to eat. But he's done much better today. He seems to be a good baby. All he does is eat and sleep. When he's awake he thinks he should be eating and when he's not eating he thinks he should be asleep. He's a very cute baby. He has dark hair right now. His head is much smaller than Jackson's was. I think it makes him look smaller than Jack was when he was born even though he weighs a pound and a half more than Jackson did. My sister Ashlee had Jackson since we left for the hospital to this afternoon when we came home. He came to the hospital yesterday and met his little brother. He like Jordan but seemed unsure of what was going on. He the same today. He wanted to hold Jordan and when I moved Jordan away from him he said "my baby!" But he also was whinier than normal. Hopefully he gets used to have Jordan around quickly! Here are some pictures of the newest member of our family.

Jackson's new favorite place to play

Jackson recently started to love to play in the shower. I guess he liked playing in it before, but I wouldn't let him. But then I decided why not? So I let him. He loves to bring balls in there and asks me to bring his basketball hoop and set it up for him. Then he throws the balls and plays basketball and 'soccerball' as he calls it.

This picture is a little dark and blurry but I think he's so cute in it, especially in his Diego jammies and santa slippers.

"I smell him"

Doug and I were babysitting my neice Allison on Saturday. We talked about how I'm having a baby soon and she looked at the baby's bed. She asked when he's going to come. I told her soon hopefully. She then went downstairs to play. After playing for a little while she started coming up the stairs and said "Stephi?" So I asked her "what." She said "did the baby come out?" I told her that he hasn't come out yet. She said "but I smell him." I don't really know what she was smelling, but it wasn't the baby. Doug and I thought it was pretty funny though.

I didn't get a good picture of them both holding on to the broom... Jack had just set it down and was done playing.

I guess you have to open your mouth when riding a broom horsey. Jackson and Allison both did it. The picture of Jackson is from a couple weeks ago when he first thought to use the broom as a horse.

Here is a video clip of Jack riding the broom horse. I know it's sideways, but if you tilt your head you can watch it as if it was the right way. I didn't realize it was going to be sideways when I took the video since I was using by digital camera not our video camera. Doug could fix it, if it's even possible, but I never asked him to help. I just wanted to see if I could get it to work. Jackson got off the broom quickly because he wanted to himself on the camera.
