Baby Sister
Last week I helped a lady out with testing an ultrasound machine. In return for helping her I'm going to get paid for it and she did a free 3D/4D ultrasound in her office. My little girl wasn't very cooperative though with letting us get a face shot. She kept her her head looking the wrong way, pushed up against my uterus, or covered with her hands and arms. But we could still tell she's very cute :)
She had her hand right above her toes. She had been grabbing her toes and we have pictures of that, but I liked this one better. It seems more clear to me.
This is the proof of her uncooperativeness. She has her head pressed up against my uterus, not letting us get a good look at her face.
Green Pepper
This pepper is from our garden. We ate it in our dinner last week. It was good. Although I did try a bite of it not cooked and it was pretty gross, but cooked it tasted better than other green peppers I've eaten. Our pepper plants seem to be the most successful ones in the garden. We have 2 or 3 more that could be picked now, but I'm hoping they'll turn yellow. Our carrots and potato plants are huge and seem to be growing well too. The actual potatoes and carrots grow under ground though so it's hard tell how they're doing or if we can eat them. Hopefully I don't wait too long so they don't go bad.

King County Fair
Went to the King County Fair on Saturday evening. It was fun and it was free, other than the $5 for parking. Not bad for a night of fun. We saw lots of animals. Jackson especially enjoyed the llamas, cows, and cranes. Jordan didn't show any preference to any of the animals. He was pretty excited by the cows and dogs though, I guess. I think he just like seeing all the animals. We also watched a balloon man making balloon hats. Jackson didn't want one and we were happy that we didn't need to stand in the long line. Jordan danced in the stroller while we watched the balloon man. He likes to dance and he's a very cute dancer.
One Kid Again
On Saturday my parents took Jackson to my dad's work summer party with them. They didn't take Jordan because he's too little to enjoy it and would have been a lot harder to take. So for the morning we only had little Jordan around. We decided to go to a Farmer's Market and check out their produce. I was very unimpressed with the market though. The prices were way higher than I expected. But the market was right next to a sprinkler park. We let Jordan run around it for awhile. He didn't go in the water at all and cried when Doug made him get too close. It was nice for me because I could just sit and relax while Doug stayed with Jordan. It was a relaxing activity.
Jordan loved pushing the stroller. At one point, he was pushing it, saw me, got excited (which he did several times :)), ran towards me without the stroller, then stopped half way there and went back to the stroller and pushed it to me. It was cute.
Jordan touching the big ball. He only touched it for a couple seconds then wanted to get away from the water again.
walking around with daddy.Jackson had fun at the summer party. My parents told me that he didn't want to do anything there though. He didn't want to go on the rides or in the bouncy house. He didn't want to try a snow cone (although he did at the end). He told me he had a hot dog and choked on it (not sure how true this is) and that he didn't want to get his face painted, but Kimber (his cousin) did.

More hair cutting
Saturday morning Jordan had crazy hair. It seemed to be sticking up everywhere. I asked Jack if we should cut it. He excitedly said "Can we? Can we?"So we did it. He doesn't look like my baby anymore. He looks older. But still cute. It grows on me a little more everyday. I do miss the curls in the back. Doug cut his hair while I held him. He did surprisingly well. We thought that he would cry for sure, but he didn't. He was getting bored of his haircut by the end and wanted down, but the hair cut didn't bother him at all.

During:
(I asked Jack to take pictures for us. I didn't know if we'd end up with any good ones, but he good. Hewas cute during it, he kept saying "Jordan say cheese" and "Jordan say pizza" (I have them say pizza sometimes to get a more natural smile.) I think that helped keep Jordan happy and occupied.

Doesn't he look older now?I also got my hair cut on Saturday. I got several inches taken off. I really like it now. It's short and easier to do and it still fits in a very small pony tail :)

Daddy's Boy
A few days ago after dinner Jackson wanted Doug to play with him. Doug told him he had to do the dishes first. Jackson said "nooo, mommy." He wanted me to do the dishes so he could play with Doug. He loves playing with Doug these days. One day he even asked if I was going to play with Jordan so he could play with Doug all by himself.

Help!
We've been trying to decide whether or not we should cut Jordan's hair. Well really, Doug is trying to convince me to cut it. It's long on top and in the back. So some days I agree we should cut it, because some days it's not very cute. But other days it's really curly in the back and really cute I think so I don't want to cut it. The front is usually poofy and sticking up though. What do you guys think? Should we cut it and risk getting rid of the cute curls that may never grow back? Or should we just wait awhile? Here's several pictures of his hair in what I think is it's cute state..

Summer Fun
Here's what we've been up to the last week:
Jordan loved putting sand in buckets. He liked trying to put it in other kids' buckets more than his own.
Jackson on his whale. He's been really excited to bring his whale to the beach. But then he only rode on it for a few minutes. I guess it wasn't as fun as he'd imagined it would be.
Jack sitting in the water. I think he plays in the water this year more than he did last year. I really like the beach were at that day. The water is shallow for awhile so there was a large area he could play in.
Doug came with us to the second beach. The kids loved playing with him. Neither of them would look at me long enough to take a good picture of the three of them.
Jackson helped bury Alli. He was funny when I told him to go stand by her and squat down so we could take his picture. He was a little unsure of what to do and just bent over with his bum in the air. The picture turned out cute though.
Jordan being cute again.
Yesterday we went to the mall because Hot Dog on a Stick was teaching kids how to make lemonade. The workers let the kids help make the lemonade then gave out free samples. Jackson would help with the making, but he did drink some. Jordan wouldn't drink any of his, so I had to drink it. It was really good lemonade.
We went to the beach twice last week. Jackson was really excited. He's been asking for a long time if it's summer and if it's hot out so we could go to the beach. Last week it was finally warm enough for the beach and so we went. The first time we went with some friends and the second time we went with my sister and her family.
