Baseball Begins

Jackson and Jordan are playing baseball this year. Mackenzie and Coleman wish they would have chosen to play, but it was too late.
Jackson played kid pitch this year and was a pitcher in the first game. He did well and loved it. Kid pitch is a lot more fun to watch than coach pitch. It's much more like real baseball :)

After pitching 2 innings, he played catcher. He loved catcher, too!

He batted left handed most of the time since most of the kids pitchers are right handed. He did that mostly because he wanted to reduce his chance of getting hit by the ball :)

Jordan is the one with bright shoes :) The fence makes it hard to to take good pictures.

Jordan batting.

We got a score book and Jackson loved keeping score.

Jordan playing his favorite position, short stop. He did really good fielding this year and made a lot of outs.

Jordan eating Reese's Puffs.

Field Day

We went to a homeschool field day. The kids loved it!
The played a game where they had to try to take each other's lei's and put them in their' team's hula hoop.

The kids had a lot of fun.

Mackenzie loved running away from everyone :)

They also did a relay race trying to collect the most leis from the other side. Coleman was cute running across.

They had snow cones.

They did a sponge game where they had to try to fill up the bucket on the other side by passing the wet sponge to their teammates.

Then they had a water fight.

Mothers' Day and Jackson's Family Birthday

Me with the kids on Mothers' Day. I love being their mother!

Doug and the kids made a scavenger hunt for me to find my presents. So fun!

After church we went to Ashlee's house to celebrate Mothers' Day and Jack's birthday.

Since we missed Cam's family party I gave her her present that day.

A space and ocean projector from Grandma and Grandpa Crabtree.

Squirt gun tag from the Crabtrees.

My sisters and I gave my mom a vacuum.

Jackson's 11th Birthday

Jackson had a great 11th birthday. It started early because we thought he and Jordan had baseball games, but they were both cancelled even though it was raining. The field was just really muddy from the rain in the past week. After we heard the game was cancelled Jackson opened his presents.
I bought him some poptarts.

11!

Making 11 like he did in kindergarten!

Coleman is not very good at staying out the way while someone is opening presents.

Pokemon cards

A baseball card holder

Rain boots and a bey blade battle arena.

Poster of Odell Beckham Jr. (I think that's who it is...)

Clothes

Doug bought NBA Playgrounds on the Switch for him.

Trying out the bey blades.

He also got a chiefs uniform that he wore all day.

Kenzie made him a home for one of his stuffed animals.

Trying out NBA Playgrounds.

He organized his baseball cards.

We went bowling, but I forgot my camera :( Doug brought his, but hasn't given me the pictures yet. Then we went to Target so Jack could spend his birthday money.

Jack bought another battle arena for his bey blades and a few new bey blades.

We also got Slurpees from 7-11.

We had a bey blades tournament.

We went to Burger King for dinner and my parents met us there.

My parents came over after to give Jackson his presents and we had cake.

Grandpa gave Jackson his birthday spankings.

More clothes!

A book from one of Grandpa's favorite author, James Patterson.

Star Wars Monopoly

Playing bey blades again.

Kenzie took a few pictures :)

And she wanted to pose for several :)

He tried blowing out his candles a few different ways.

He got Banangrams from the Kenyons so we played it. It was a lot of fun!

Then Jackson and Grandpa played chess.

We let Jackson stay up a little later and he played the Switch with Doug.

Here's somethings about Jackson:
He still loves all sports and would love to play sports all day everyday. Unless his legs get too tired:)
The only thing he might love as much as sports is video games. He would also love to do that all day everyday. He loves playing the Switch with Doug and a computer game called Diep.io with Jordan on the computer.
He enjoys reading a lot too, but has had a a harder time finding books he likes lately. He doesn't like fantasy as much because it usually gets too scary for him. He is currently reading The Chronicles of Narnia though and is loving it. He also loves the Hatchet series.
He is very responsible. I made him a check list to complete each week for homeschool and he completed it every week without me having to remind him most of the time. He gets up every morning and does his Language Arts, math, and all his tasks (which are clean his room, practice the piano, a clean up chore that changes each day, brush his teeth, and read for 20 minutes) by about 9. He loves the free time that comes after he finishes his work :)
He loves learning French and his current goal is to get 100% fluency on Duolingo by Christmas.
He also is learning a few other languages on Duolingo.
He loves playing the piano and practices a lot. He plays really well.
He loves writing comics about a yellow square named Invisible Bob.
He doesn't really like to watch TV or movies that much. He'd rather play video games. He does like watching sports, especially football.
He loves playing games.
He recently said that his favorite sport is now basketball.
He's a good kid.
He's adored by all his siblings. Everyone always wants to sit by him in the car.
We are so happy he's part of out family!
We love him so much!
