Mackenzie's 8th Birthday

Mackenzie turned 8 this year!

She was a little excited.

She made this adorable button for herself. I love her creativity.

The presents.

This is how we all had to go down the stairs.

Opening the present from Coleman.

Still opening the same present.

And it's a fidget spinner!

This is the present for Jordan. He went a little crazy with wrapping paper :)

She was so excited to see it was a Moana dress.

Next we headed to Odyssey 1.

She got this puppy from Jackson. It looks like it's breathing.

Next she wanted to watch Trolls.

She organized her presents.

We frosted her cupcakes.

Then we all went to Coleman's practice. Kenzie wanted to come, and I made everyone else come too so we could all be with the birthday girl :) We played soccer pretty much the whole time.

After Papa John's Pizza for dinner we sang happy birthday to Kenzie and ate cupcakes.

Happy Birthday to my favorite girl!

All about Kenzie:
She loves to make people happy.
She hates to be alone. She often won't go to a different floor of the house unless someone else is on it.
She loves dance and soccer.
She plays defense in soccer most of the time, but still goes up to score a goal every once and awhile.
She loves playing with other girls and is so happy when there are other girls around.
She is loving Activity Days.
She loves making things.
She loves drawing pictures.
She writes notes to us (especially me) often. When someone makes her sad or mad she will often write them a note telling them how she feels. Most of her notes to me ask if she can do something.
She loves dessert.
She also loves fruits and vegetables.
She doesn't love most breakfast foods. Lately she's been eating sausage for breakfast.
She's been doing great about getting all her tasks done by 9 recently. She also doesn't complain when we do math anymore:)
She loves watching TV and movies.
She really, really, really wants a pet.
She plays with Coleman a lot.
She hates sleeping alone and always tries to convince Coleman to have a sleepover with her. She's afraid of stalkers and people breaking into our house (thanks to scary stories told by her older cousins when we at Yellowstone...)
She's great at cheering people up.
She often says "You're my favorite one!" to me.
She loves to talk.
She's fun.
She's so cute!
We love her so much!

Puyallup Fair

We went to the Puyallup Fair again this year. We had a blast!

Doug took the day off to come with us.

We learned that sheep can have more than 2 horns.

Seahawks collection

We watched a comedy juggling show.

The kids each got to choose about 3 rides. Coleman's first ride was this bear ride.

Mackenzie and Coleman rode this dragon roller coaster.

They all went in the mirror fun house. They ran into the mirrors a few times.

Jackson rode this one.

He's the boy in the blue shirt and green shorts.

Mackenzie and Coleman both played this fishing game. They were guaranteed a prize.

They both chose frogs as their prize.

Jordan rode this one. I always call it the Music Express because it reminds me of Music Express at Lagoon, but it's not actually called that.

They all rode the Tilt A Whirl as their last ride. There was enough for Coleman to ride it too even though he had already used all his tickets. We though I would be able to ride it too, but we didn't have quiet enough tickets for it. The other kids tried to pressure Coleman into letting me ride, but I told him he could ride.

Next we went to the petting zoo. Coleman even started petting the animals right away. He usually takes awhile to warm up to the idea.

Mackenzie and Coleman rode the tractor bikes. Jackson and Jordan were too tall this year.

Mackenzie

Next we went to the pioneer area.

The last thing we did was eat elephant ears and dole whip and we looked at the cute piglets.
