Backflip

Kenzie's been working hard to learn how to do a backflip on the trampoline and on Sunday she was successful!

 

Piano Tuning Lessons

Jordan said last week that he thought it would be fun to learn how to tune pianos. Doug texted our piano tuner who said that he teaches tuning lessons. We signed Jordan up and he had his first lesson on Monday. The tuner told him the kit he needed and Doug ordered it for him. Jordan spent over an hour practicing on Tuesday and Wednesday. He has 9 more lessons to go!

Organist

Jordan was the organist at church last Sunday. He did a great job!

Computer Cleaning

Coleman cleaned his computer on Saturday. It's looking great now!

Jordan got a 1510 on his SAT! We went to Don Taco for dinner to celebrate!

Wild Waves!

We went to Wild Waves for the first time last week! It was fun! Although they don't open the rides until noon now, so the water lines were long so quickly. We got one food pass this year so we can get one treat or meal each time we go. We got an elephant ear that day!

Space Needle Team Party

Coleman has his soccer party at the top of the Space Needle! One of his teammate's dad is a chef there and was able to get everyone in for free! Doug took the boys and they had a great time!

Baseball, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis

We've had a busy spring filled with sports! We love watching the kids play!

Coleman played baseball!

Jordan played in a brolleyball tournament (boys volleyball :)) at Kentwood with some tennis friends and their friends. His team came in first!

Kenzie and Jordan finished up their volleyball seasons at the beginning of June.

Jordan's team lost their first game in the tournament. They had finished 3rd in the season.

Kenzie's team played in the championship game!

And won! They had the best record in the regular season and also won the tournament.

And his last game. It was a fun one. His team was down 0-2, but they came back and won 6-2 with a lot of really great shots by his team.

He had a great year at college. He made lots of great friends, played lots of tennis, and learned (hopefully!) a lot. He worked hard and got good grades. We're glad to have him home for the summer!
