Jackson had a Space themed birthday party.
They decorated and the flew flying saucers.
Opened presents.
Had cake. He was easy this year. He wanted a Neptune cake. I made 2 round cakes and frosted one. Jordan said it was Uranus because it was light blue. So I had to add a little more food coloring to make it a little darker so the next cake would be Neptune. So he had a Neptune and Uranus cake.
Played pin Neptune on the Solar System (Neptune is Jackson's favorite planet.)
We had an astronaut training obstacle course (they were going on a mission to the moon to find meteorites). Mason is about to shoot the alien on the white board with the bow and arrow.
The kids waiting for their turn to do the obstacle course.
All the kids in the spaceship... Jackson, Mason, Alli, Ronan, Lily, Jordan, Cole.
Doug telling them the rules about outside. He wanted to make sure his new shed that he was in the middle of building didn't get destroyed.
They found the meteorites that had landed on the moon.
You can see part of Doug's shed. We stayed up that night until midnight trying to finish building it because it was supposed to rain the next few days. We didn't finish, but were able to protect it with tarp.
They played alien freeze tag.
Did a puzzle.
Jack picked these out for the gift bags. The kids loved them and they were all giggling while wearing them and looking at each other in them.
