Hawaii Day 19

Yesterday we went to Hukilau in the morning. The men went golfing early and everyone else was having a lazy morning so the kids and I were there about an hour by ourselves. The Crabtrees came after an hour and everyone else came a half hour or hour after that. The kids were so good during that time and didn't whine or cry or fight. Just played happily. It was nice :) 

 Jack said he was not going in the water. The rest of us got in right away and swam for awhile. Jack created a game while we were swimming and playing in the sand. Kenzie played with him once he was done making it.

 Jordan loves swimming! He's gotten so much better at it since we've been here.

The sun was in Colie's eyes. He didn't like that very much. 

Jordan started playing the game too.

 Colie wouldn't smile at me. I asked him if he likes me to smile when he takes a picture of me. He said yes. 

Then he turned and smiled at me. 

 And of course had to make a silly face.

 Jordan, Jack, Nati, Shell and Kenzie. After being there so long Jack decided to be brave and get in the water. Luckily he didn't get stung. Otherwise he would probably never get back in Hukilau.

 Alli got stung pretty badly by a jelly fish. It wrapped around her anklet and was stuck there for a little bit, Even the baking soda didn't work that well. This was her 3rd time being stung. She says they either love her or hate her. Nati got stung by the same jelly fish right before Alli did. Nati's been stung 3 times as well. Poor kids! This picture was before Alli got stung.

 Coleman was a sand monster when he came out from being buried.

 Kenzie and Colie made a sand pie. Kenzie sent Colie to get leaves. After he got some several times, she told him to get 2 more. He either said he was tired or just didn't want to. She said to just get 1 more. He responded the same. She said to get zero more. He laughed and said okay. Then he ran to the leaves and picked up some sand instead.

 Jack brought his recorder to the beach.

Last night we had out last real date night. Konrad left today so although I think we'll still go out Saturday night Ashlee will really be dateless. We went to Pounders then to Ted's Bakery then back to Pounders to get Konrad's credit card.. The date ended too early though because we got home right at bedtime and still had to put the kids to bed. It was a fun date though! After the kids were in bed we played a game that I don't know what it's called. But it's fun :) I love playing games!
