In March we drove to Arizona to go visit my grandma and aunt that live there as well as see my sister who drove there from Texas. My parents were there and Ashlee for some of the trip. We decided to go through California and then back home through Las Vegas, Utah, and Idaho so that we could see all of Doug's family that live in the west. It was a long trip, with lots of driving and too much throwing up, but it was great to see everyone. We left Thursday, March 7th, and stayed in Eugene OR and then drove to Sacramento the next day and got there around dinner time. The kids did great in the car (they actually did the entire trip. I think this was our best drive yet. Other than the throwing up. But we'll get to that later :)) We stayed with Tyler and Rose Friday night and hung out with them on Saturday. We had a great time with them! We played games, went on a walk to the creek, played at the park, the dads took the big kids fishing, ate out, played in the backyard and enjoyed being together :)
Kenzie on the way to the creek.
Kenzie and me. I had my hair cut a couple weeks before the trip. I'm really liking it. It's so fast and easy to do.
Doug and Coleman at the creek.
I just think this picture is kind of funny.
Cute Lila.
Avery, Jack, and Jordan. These 3 have so much fun together.
I'm not sure what there were all looking at. It must have been something pretty fascinating though :) This is when they went fishing.

All the kids. Some of them doing silly faces.
All the kids again.
Kenzie's done.
We left Saturday night and stayed in Fresno hoping to get a good night
sleep since we had stayed up late the night before and were still up
early. But the fire alarm went off twice around 10:30-11:30 waking us
up. Luckily the kids slept through it all. But it was kind of hard going
back to sleep after waking up thinking your hotel may be burning down. But it didn't burn down. And we did fall back asleep. We just didn't get as much sleep as we wanted. We got to AZ Sunday night around 8 and stopped by to see grandma and then headed to my Aunt Nancy's house where we slept for the week. The rest of the week will be in the next few posts...
