After Orem we headed to Blackfoot ID to see Doug's brother Darrin's family. We got to meet Whitney's husband. We loved spending time with all of them!
We got there a little before they did so the kids jumped on the trampoline.
and we looked at their goats.
Coleman liked them until a goat put his front legs up on the gate. Then he was a little scared of them.
Kenzie, Jackson, Jordan, Coleman, and Doug.
After Shawnee came she got some bread for us to feed the ducks and goats.
Jackson and Darrin did a little boxing.
Kenzie and Coleman found the toys.
Damon wanted to box too.
Doug and I couldn't believe how old Damon looks now.
Jackson has always loved playing with Damon. Damon has always been so good with little kids and has seemed to like playing with them.
Daisy loves playing with the goats.
We had a great time vising with Darrin and Shawnee's family! We stayed there Wednesday night. Coleman woke up that night throwing up. Doug and I were up for quite awhile with him. Doug, being super husband, cleaned all the throw up up while I sat with Coleman in the bathroom and tried to let him throw up all over. It was a very long night. After Doug finished cleaning up I let him go to bed to try to get some sleep since he was going to be the one driving the next day. He had driven the entire trip so far and wanted to do the rest.I don't think he slept too much. After Coleman was done throwing up he and I went back to bed and Doug let me sleep in the next morning and then we left.
We stayed in Pendlton OR on Thursday night. Coleman threw up once in the car Thursday and once in the car Friday. We arrived home Friday evening. We were so happy to be home. Having sick kids and sleeping in 9 different places made the trip seem very long. It felt longer than the month we spend in Hawaii. It was really great to see everyone though. And we would like to do the trip again. Hopefully next we just won't get sick. :) We loved having one on one time with each of Doug's siblings that we saw (we saw 6 of 7, the 7th lives in Atlanta, and that's a little too far to drive:)). We usually see everyone at family reunions and so we don't really get one on one time. And we loved being in Arizona and visiting with grandma and the Kenyons and Nancy. It was a fun, long vacation.
