It took a couple tries, but Jackson passed his drivers test and can drive where ever he wants now! (the first time he accidentally backed up onto the curb when he was backing around the corner, which appeared to be an automatic fail, but he did great the second time)
Doug took him to get the DMV to get the actual license. I was busy working (at Ashlee's preschool :)) We thought we'd be able to do it online because his permit had a picture so the could just use that for the license, but when we tried to do it said he had to go in to get his eyes checked. So Doug took him in and they said they weren't checking eyes (because of covid, I think) so he didn't even have to get his eyes checked. Luckily he can see well. At least we think so.
Driving to D&D on his own for the first time!
