Today we went to the mall while the men golfed, then went to Kailua beach, one of our favorites even though it's an hour away.
Kenzie wasn't enjoying herself much because I wasn't buying her anything. She had her own money, but didn't think anything she found was worth spending her money on:)
The kids loved the pet store and most of them wanted to buy a mouse or puppy or bird or tiny tortoise. Us mean moms said no though.
Richard golfing.
All my beach pictures turned out a little foggy.
Kimber and Nati
Kenna and Sam
Alli
All the grandkids in age order.
The kids found lots of coconuts and were pretending they were their babies.
Coleman played baker for awhile. He made me pizza, cookies, breadsticks, drinks, watermelon, and several treats that didn't have names.
Jack, Alli, Kenna
Playing with their coconut babies.
There was a bird man on the beach. The birds kept coming to him. Then they would fly away for a little bit, the fly right back to him.
Near the end of our beach day the kids starting running races.
Jordan worked on building a turtle. I saw him working hard on what I thought must be an intricate design on the shell.
When I went to investigate I saw that he wrote Tom Marvolo Riddle, I am Lord Voldemort.
More racing.
Grandpa told them when to go and judged the winner.
After awhile the adults started joining in the race.
Kenzie fell across the finish line one time so her and Kenna ran to the water to rinse off all the sand.
Sam and Kenna decided to do cartwheel races.
Then walking on they hands races, which looked more like a cartwheel race for Kenna, and Sam put her hands under feet so she was actually walking on her hands.
Kailua is such a beautiful beach. The water was so blue/green. After the beach we all went out to The Shack for dinner. It was another great day! I love being in Hawaii with my family!
