Today we went to Aloha Stadium to shop at the swap meet. We found a lot of treasures! Grandpa gave the kids some money before going so they were especially excited to have some of their own money to spend.
Coleman bought two decks of cards. He was not excited to come shopping. Before we left he was telling me that the drive was going to be long. I suggested he could talk about space with Doug (which he usually loves to do) or play the alphabet game or something. He didn't like those ideas. Then he told me the only way to make it fun was to not go. Then when we got there he just complained and didn't want to leave my side and wanted me to carry him (which I wouldn't do very much. It's too hot for that:)) But once we finally found some cards for him to buy, he was much happier.
Jackson bought a good ukulele. He's been playing it pretty much all day and has learned a few songs.
Kenzie got a tail!
Coleman got one too. He didn't have any loops on his pants, but Doug tried to attach it to his pants somehow. It didn't work though.
Doug bought a new hat.
Everyone but the Crabtrees (although Alli came with Grandma and Grandpa) went to Teddy's Best Burgers for lunch. They are Doug's favorite!
He only ate my vanilla shake with me. I convinced him to try one bite of my chicken tenders, but he wasn't a fan. He just wanted a peanut butter and honey sandwich, which he ate soon after we got home.
It was like these two were on a date. They had a table all to themselves:)
Tonight the adults had date night while the kids had Mac and Cheese at home. We went to the food trucks in Kahuku. We had Thai, Coconut Shrimp, BBQ, and hot dog and sausage waffles. Everyone was happy with their meal :)
