Doug, my dad, and the boys (and occasionally the girls) have been playing a chipping golf game. They set the little net up around the yard and try to chip the ball into it or as close as they can get to it.
Doug checking out Jackson's new Pokemon cards.
We've had two power plugs in the last couple months that have third metal prong break off in the outlet from computer plugs.
Coleman and Kenzie have slept in tent a lot in the last month. Cam was able to sleep out there with them a couple times too!
I think with the Crabtree's getting Ollie, Kenzie has been extra sad about not having a pet. We're starting to feel a little bad about her not having one. She just loves animals so much. So we're trying to find one that has very little maintenance but is also fun. And that also isn't so small that it might escape and get lost in our house and end up in our shoes or beds. So we've narrowed it down to a bunny or a cat. What Kenzie wants most is a kitty, then a bunny, then a cat. So a bunny and kitty are actually tied because the kitty will eventually turn into a cat and won't be quite as cute or playful.
Coleman, Doug, and I played the farming game! Coleman won. Doug was a close second. I had about $5,000-10,000 (compared to their over $250,000.) I just kept missing out on farming my cows :)
I found some of Jordan's past presents when I cleaning out the sewing room. When I reminded him about them he spent several hours building. He made this musical robot.
that also lights up!
He also made a helicopter.
Coleman and I are still making our way through Harry Potter. We're on the 5th one! It's so fun watching his face as I read. He's quite expressive :)
Doug, Jackson, and Jordan pooled their money and bought a huge box of Pokemon cards. It took them a couple hours to open, sort, and pick their cards.
Coleman asked Doug and I if he could print the chapters from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Doug immediately said no. Coleman and I were a little surprised he said no so quickly. With a little discussion we found out Doug thought Coleman wanted to print off the entire book, not just the chapter titles :) Coleman laughed so hard at the thought of printing off the whole book :) He wants to memorize all the names and page numbers of his favorite book.
Jackson and Jordan spent a couple days helping my dad put cement in the ground where they are standing. Doug just jumped in for the picture :)
They made a lot of money (Jordan more than, Jackson since he worked longer) and with his money Jordan bought... more Pokemon cards!
Kenzie made these cute animals out of waxy straws.
