We went to Texas for the month of November to visit my sister Michelle and her family. I was a littler nervous a month might be too long and that we might miss being home and doing our normal things. But I was wrong. We really could have stayed longer. We had so much fun! The only bad thing was that it went by way too fast. I wish the Kenyons still lived close. We love being with them! I took a ton of pictures so each of the Texas posts will have a lot of them. But remember I did cut out some of the pictures so there aren't as many as there could have been :) I tried to convince Doug to just drive to their house, but he didn't think 4 long days of driving was better than 4 long hours of flying. So we flew. The kids did great. The plane ride seemed so quiet. There weren't many kids and no one seemed to be talking. It was kind of weird. When we got off, people told us that they didn't even know our kids were on there because they were so quiet. That's because they all had electronics to play on and watch the whole time...
I bought some gel for the boys' mo-hawks and it's strong enough to even give Coleman one.
Nati and Jordan enjoying a snack. The kids loved eating at the bar.
The first few days we were there Coleman pushed this stroller around with Mickey in it.
We brought our homeschool stuff.
Jordan making a mummy of barbie.
Jackson making a mummy of Ken.
The drain in the kids' bathroom wasn't working too well. Michelle was in there and found that corn was growing in it!
Nati holding the corn.
Michelle and the kids took it outside to plant in the garden to see if will keep growing.
Kenzie and Nati
During the week, Kenna had to go to school so we had the kids sleep in separate rooms, but on the weekends we let them have sleep overs. There were so excited to sleep together.
Jordan slept on the top bunk.
Kenna and Jackson
On Saturday we went to a Natural Science Museum.
Colie, Kenzie, Jordan, Doug

Kenna and Coleman looking at dead snakes. Colie loved playing with "Tenna"
Jordan making energy.
Nati, Coleman, and Doug in a cave.
Kenna
Jack and Jordan... surprisingly they're blocking the sun. :)
Doug and me.
Us again with more of the view behind us.
Kenna and Jackson. These 2 had so much fun playing together everyday. Jackson was always so excited when Kenna would get home from school.
Michelle and Richard
Kenna and Jackson digging for fossils in the dinosaur pit.

Our family.
The Kenyons.
We went to Michelle's favorite restaurant: Chuy's. It was good :) They give the kids Push-pops after dinner.
Richard and Nati.
On Monday we went to the park. It was a nice, warm day.
Jack loves obstacle course type things.
He had a pretty good mo-hawk that day.
Mackenzie wore Nati's close most of the time. Nati wore Kenzie's sometimes too.
Cute Colie boy.
We went to the zoo that afternoon. It was a really small zoo. We did it in about an hour I think. We still had fun :)
Jordan and Kenna with the monkey... Jordan is actually blocking the monkey :)
Kenzie and the monkey.
Michelle made some sounds when we came over by the monkeys and they all started talking back to her. I never knew she could speak monkey :)
Lots of little monkeys. Kenzie, Jordan, Nati, Colie, Jack, Kenna
The boys switched places.
Michelle taking Nati's picture.
Kenzie (and Jackson)
Jack.
Jackson, Colie, Jordan, Nati, Kenna. After the picture Colie looked up at the chicken and said "Big Red Chicken!" (from Dora) It does look a lot like the big red chicken.
Kenzie was a little sad.
Michelle bought some food to feed the farm animals.
And we saw this peacock spreading it's feathers.
We also saw a huge tiger there. It was the biggest tiger I think I've ever seen. I tried to get a picture of it, but it didn't turn out.
