Fun with the Kenyons

The Kenyons are visiting from Texas. We love seeing them! We've spent most are days at my parents' house. Unfortunately, it's been a bit cold, so we haven't got much swimming in. But we've played lots of games, done puzzles, the kids have played Survivor, capture the flag, and ghosts in the graveyard. They've also watched a lot of tv.
Swimming with matching swimsuits.

Jordan loves being around Richard because Richard often find projects to do and lets Jordan help him.

Alli measuring Jordan and Kenna.

They're so close to the same height.

I think they were starting up Survivor. It's based on the show Survivor. They make up challenges and whoever wins gets immunity and then they vote someone off (but they can't vote for the person with immunity). They say Jackson almost always wins the challenges. I suggested they have him eat peanut butter as part of a challenge (not really thinking they'd do a food challenge). They did do it and Jackson lost the challenge, but he still won the game. I was curious to if Jackson's competitiveness would be stronger than his hatred of peanut butter so it was interesting to find he hates peanut butter more than he loves winning. He did say later that he didn't think he'd win the challenge anyways. Other parts of the challenge including dressing dolls so Nati had a big advantage already since Jordan and Jackson (the only other two still in the game at that point) don't have as much experience doing that :)

Richard got the hot tub working.

Jackson wrote down rules for Capture the Flag. He was tired of having changing rules. One rule was that you can't add new rules while playing :)

We celebrated Kenna's birthday on the 29th. She wanted Cafe Rio for dinner. It was our first time eating at a restaurant since Jordan's birthday almost 4 months ago!

Kenna ready to open presents.

Michelle made her a carrot cake. It was yummy!

Kenzie and Nati did an 8 hour pool/hot tub challenge. Cam was with them most of the time too. I kept telling them they didn't need to stick with it. :) It was a cold day and they looked so bored by the end. They stopped after 6 hours because Nati's feet were becoming too wrinkly and the skin looked like it was going to start coming off.

Ricahrd started a fire a we made smores. And that was after a yummy smore dessert Ashlee had made. It was a delicious night :)

Jordan burned a few marshmallows.

Grandpa, Alli, Konrad, Jackson

Richard, Shell, Kimber

Kenzie, Nati, and Cam made a fort.

Watching Nati's ipad in the fort.

We played Taboo. It was a lot of fun. I really like word games. And drawing ones :)

These girls made some slime.
