There were a few notable things that happened at soccer a couple Saturdays ago...
Coleman was goalie for his whole game. They played the first place team in their division and the other team had control of the ball pretty much the whole game, but only scored 5. Coleman blocked a ton. His coach said he'll keep him at goalie as long as he wants to stay there because he's the best option they have. He loves being goalie, so he's happy to play there as much as he can. He doesn't ever do drop kicks. He always throws the ball out, but not very far. His team makes me laugh because they are usually pretty slow to get out of the goal area for him to throw it to them so he has to stand around and wait for them. The other team ran out quickly and were always waiting too.
Kenzie's team scored their first goal. The other team also scored the most points that have been scored against Kenzie's team in a long time. I think they had 6. Kenzie was feeling especially discouraged after the game and said she played horribly and let in so many goals.
And finally, Jordan scored his first goal of the season. He was standing in the perfect place in front of the goal and when they ball came to him he kicked it in. It was very exciting!
At Jackson's game the Friday before, Jackson had some great moves going past three defenders while staying right by the line, and the other coach was saying he liked him and wanted to know his parents are. He said he gives ice cream for new recruits.

My kids like to make up songs, often about me. Here's a few of them:
Mommy, mommy, I love you, you're the best one to put on a shoe. (Kenzie came up with that line) Up above the mommy so high, like a mommy in the sky, mommy, mommy, I love you, no one could be better than you. (In the car, Kenzie often says "One, two, three" and then they all start singing. Sometimes Coleman will sing "moray mossas moo hoo moo (or something like that) in the background while Kenzie sings the main song.)
Flip, Flop, Flee, everybody running to the mommy hug. Mommies and Kenzies (or Colies) hugging each other super, super super super super super (or many supers as they feel like adding) much.
If my mommy went to the store, she would buy Kenzie (or Colie, or Jordy.)
Then they add different parts to the song like "she would only buy Kenzie" or "no, she wouldn't buy Kenzie, because she'd already have Kenzie"

And Jackson sings to Colie (which Coleman doesn't like when Jack sings it around anyone else but our family.):
Cutie, cutie, cute-i-o, cuter than the cute I know. Mmm mmm how cute! How cute! Because he's a cutie!
And one last story:
Last Thursday I was driving Kenzie home from dance and she was complaining that she is the youngest one in her class and a lot of the other girls are 5th and 6th graders. She then told that she told her class she's in fourth grade! She said she didn't want them to know she's so young. Haha!
