Dance Family Reunion and Coleman's Birthday

The Dance Family Reunion was held in Sandy Valley this year on Coleman's birthday. Everyone but Carson, Dylan and his family, Toria and her family, Whitney's husband Quentin, and Shayla (who's on a mission) were able to come this year. It was the first time all of Doug siblings were together for at least 7 years I think. We all had a great time together!
Coleman loved playing with Brooklyn. This picture is actually from the night before. Deveny's and Candis' family were there for dinner. Deveny's family slept in their RV, we slept at the house, and everyone else slept in hotels.

Jordan and Deveny played electronic monopoly. Deveny was kind to play so long with him :)

We brought a pac-man game that can be hooked up to the tv. The kids loved playing it.

Kenzie hiding.

The rest of the pictures are from the day of the reunion.
The 6 year old. I can't believe my baby is 6.

Playing Ultimate Frisbee before it gets too hot. It was about 115 degrees that day.

The birthday boy.

Next we played a game where we pushed each other into the kiddie pool. If you pushed someone in, then you had to stand in front of it and wait until someone else pushed you in.
Isaac getting pushed in by Jordan.

Waiting for someone to push him in.

Kenzie snuck up on Brian and pushed him in from behind.

Doug pushing X in.

Gracie (with a little encouragement from Tyler) pushing Doug in.

Shawnee and Damon

Lila is a master hula hooper. We had a talent show and she did a dance with it. It was pretty awesome. Gracie did it with her. They are very talented girls!

Soon the big kids starting dumping the little kids in. David pulled Deveny in too.

Jordan trying to run away from Damon.

But Damon caught him and threw him in.

Stare down between Coleman and Damon

Lincoln was holding on to Damon for dear life. He refused to be put in the water.

Shawnee and Coleman. Damon threw Shawnee in too.

Damon, Alyssa, and Kenzie. Kenzie loves Damon, but is also pretty terrified of him. That's how most of my kids feel about him :)

Deveny, Joan, and Candis.

Joan with all her kids: Randy, Jason, Darrin, Tyler, Brian, Doug, Deveny, Candis

Someone brought the water balloons that you just attach to hose and it fills up a ton of balloons. Coleman used the things the balloons come off of to scratch Hunter's back. Hunter would guess which color Coleman was using. Coleman loved the game, and Hunter loved the back scratching :)

Shawnee painted watermelons on the girls' fingernails.

Jason and Shantel

Jackson, Mckay, Xavier, and Isaac

Anna, Daisy, Avery, Carinn, and Lila

Eva, Kenzie, and Shawnee

Cute nails.

Coleman sang "I'm so Glad When Daddy Comes Home" for the talent show.

Kenzie played "Spinning Song" This is the song she played last year at her recital, but she hasn't quite finished her current song she played the one from last year. Their recital was actually that day, but they missed it since we were here. I was happy they still got to perform :)

Jordan played "Stressed Out."

Jack played a medley of the songs he knows. He practices his old songs a lot so he can still play them all really well. He played parts of "Canon," "Hungarian Dance," "Super Mario" and "C.C. Rider Blues." It sounded great all put together. He has a lot talent and works really hard a the piano.

Lila and Gracie doing their hula hooping dance.

Grandma

Whitney, Shawnee, Asher, Damon

Joan, Anna with a ukulele, Lauren (I think she was just singing, not playing the piano too) and Brooklyn watching. Lauren and Anna both didn't want to perform during the talent show but did this after. They sounded so good together.

Darrin brought stuff to blow up the junk, so he and a lot of the family went out to do that. And they hit an old junk car and it started on fire.

They had to get lots of buckets of water and carry it out there. I think the kids kept at it until it was all the way put out.

Avery, Carinn, Lila, and Coleman

Damon has a crazy talent where he can drink about an entire bottle of water in about 3 seconds.

The burnt up car.

Before the fire it looked a lot like this one.

It started to cool off again and we could play on the sod. The kids had a boys vs girls soccer game.

My cute 6 year old.

Jack and Avery

My camera can shoot panorama shots.

Kenzie and Eva had a lot of fun playing together.

Then the kids played a game where you spin around with your head on a bat and then run to the other side and someone else on your team does the same thing.

Jackson was little dizzy :)

Gracie

Alyssa, Lincoln, Hunter, Coleman, Jordan

Then the adults played. Doug was convincing me to play.

It was a fun, long, busy day!

They next day was Father's Day.
The kids sang "I'm so glad when Daddy Comes Home" to Doug. If we had been home they would have sang it at church to him.

Brian's family came over for the afternoon. Grandma had puzzle for them to play with. We also played lots of games. It was a fun day. We always love to see our family!
