Dance Family: Vacation Part 2: Disneyland!

The next part of our trip was Disneyland! We did 3 days at Disneyland and 2 days at California Adventure. It was so fun and so tiring :)

All of us rode Space Mountain and loved it! I didn't think that Kenzie would like it, but she did. She kept saying "this is fast."

Kenzie's head and tummy hurt most of Monday.

Kenzie fell asleep in the stroller. I was hoping that would help her feel better. It did for one ride, Pirates of the Caribbean. Then Doug took the big boys on Indiana Jones, and I took Kenzie and Coleman to Winnie the Pooh. While we were walking towards the ride Kenzie threw up :( We left the ride, told an employee she threw up, and found Doug and the big boys. I took Kenzie back to the hotel and the others stayed for a few more hours.

Kenzie ate of crackers and drank Gatorade while watching the cartoon network. The next day Doug took the boys to California Adventure in the morning, and Kenzie and I met up with them around lunch time. She was feeling mostly better, and only threw up that one time.

We watched the new Frozen show.

Kenzie thought the best part about being sick was that she got to ride in the stroller for the rest of the trip. I didn't want Coleman riding in it after she sat in it, getting her germs all over him.

We thought we were going to be able to ride together because the kids wanted to ride with each other, but then Coleman was too you to ride without us. It was fun while it lasted, which was long enough for us to snap this picture.

The next day we went to Disneyland. We rode Dumbo before the line got too long.

We rode Buzz Lightyear many times.

The kids did Jedi training:

They wore Jedi robes.

Kenzie is on the end, I'm not sure where the boys are.

Darth Vader came!

Kenzie and Coleman both fought "Dark Vader" (as Coleman calls him,) while Jackson and Jordan fought someone else. I didn't get pictures of it because I took a video instead.

Space Mountain again!

She finally got to ride Winnie the Pooh, her favorite ride.

We tried to go in Minnie's house, but we couldn't go in. Minnie was in there and we would have had to wait in a long line. So we went in Mickey's house instead.

I took the big boys and Kenzie on Indiana Jones. Coleman is still to small to ride it. Jordan was the lucky one who got to sit in the driver's seat.

Coleman found his first favorite food while we were there. It's the kids "power patch" (or power pack as it's actually called:)) It comes with a banana, yogurt smoothie, apples, carrots (which he usually didn't eat), and fishies. He loved it!

The next day we went to California Adventure again. The boys wanted to ride Tower of Terror first so Kenzie and I got some smoothies and rode Monsters Inc over and over again.

We played in the Up area fora awhile.

Kenzie was not happy that we were going to make her ride Radiator Springs.

Doug was trying to cheer her up by showing her that we could get a free picture printed from a ride and we wanted to get it from Radiator Springs. She still wasn't excited, but she did end up liking the ride :)

The boys rode the Mickey Mouse Ferris Wheel so Kenzie got a popsicle and we rode Little Mermaid.

We went on the river run ride. Kenzie and Jackson both didn't want to get wet so we bought them ponchos. Doug was going to get ponchos for all of us, but they were too much so he just bought two.

These 2 didn't care about getting wet. Doug ended up getting the most wet. I wish I would have got a picture of him.

We were hoping to print a copy of this picture, but we couldn't see Kenzie's face.

We spent our last day in Disneyland. We went to Minnie's house again, but still couldn't get in without waiting in a long line. So we just went in the backyard.

Space Mountain again. We were hoping to print this one, but I was blocking Jordan's face.

We finally made it in Minnie's house. Kenzie was so happy :)

Jordan forgot to bring a jacket on the vacation. It was on the list I wrote of things he needed to pack, but he didn't bring one. On Wednesday night he was pretty cold, so he chose to get a Tower of Terror jacket the next day for his souvenir. He also wore pants socks and shoes instead of shorts and flip flops the last two days :)
