Kangaroo Farm

We went to the Kangaroo Farm in Fall City. We watched a slide show all about kangaroos and learned a lot. After the presentation was over the man giving the presentation pulled out a baby kangaroo he had been keeping in a pouch under his jacket. We all had no idea it was in there. He passed the kangaroo around for the kids to have a turn to hold if they wanted. Jordan ran to me as soon as the guy started letting the kids hold the baby kangaroo. Coleman shook his head when the man tried to give it to him. Jackson and Mackenzie were both happy to it though. Then we were able to go outside to see, feed, and pet the other kangaroos and wallabies.

The baby almost escaped from the pouch when Kenzie was holding it.

Mackenzie feeding a wallaby. Even though she has done it before, she was really nervous to feed it.

A big kangaroo.

This one was so soft.

Jackson didn't feed any this time, and was nervous to touch one. But he finally worked up enough courage to do it.

Jordan wouldn't touch any. Coleman did once, but I didn't get a picture because he did it so quickly.

After the field trip Jordan made himself a pouch for one of his stuffed animals :)
