The kids decorated for Doug's big day.
They taped non-blown up balloons to the wall...
and a napkin.
They decorated the fireplace and hung up the happy birthday sign.
And even hung up a bag of superhero bracelets.
And a few letters of our old happy birthday decoration.

Colie gave Doug a "Best Dad in the World" water bottle.
Kenzie gave him a moon tie, which he wears every Sunday to church.
Jordan gave him NES remix.
And a baseball card of Doug Fister.
Jackson gave Doug a football Wii game.

It was conference that day so the kids and I watched it and the kids played with Legos.
We went to my parents' that night for a yummy dinner. It was my mom's birthday the day before Doug's so we also celebrated both their birthdays.
My mom didn't want 57 candles :)
But Doug did get 33 candles, whether he wanted them or not :)
