Alaska Cruise Day 3 - Ketchikan

Our first stop was in Ketchikan. We walked around, shopped, and watched a lumberjack show.
The Norwegian Sun

Kenzie was sad to see a bear that was shot and killed.

The lumberjack show was a lot of fun! Two teams competed in different events. One was the Canadian team and the other was the U.S. team. They split the fans in half and then you had to cheer for the team from the section you were sitting in. We were in the Canadian team section. We thought it was funny that our lumberjacks were named Cole (maybe even Coleman) and Cameron.

The first event was wood chopping.

Axe throwing

Sawing

More wood chopping

Whichever team won handed out an autographed postcard to a fan in their section. Kenzie was chosen by one of our lumberjacks!

Pole climbing

Our favorite was when they both stood on the log and tried to knock the other one off by moving the log.

Jellyfish in the water!

Back on the boat again!

Basketball on the deck.

The kids all the loved the unlimited free ice cream.

broccoli!

Alaska Cruise Day 2- At Sea

Our first full day was just an At Sea day. Doug had a pretty bad headache so he spent most of the day trying to sleep. The rest of us explored the boat.
Breakfast with a view!

Our 10 day plan.

Kenzie, Coleman, Jordan, and I watched Deal or No Deal. This guy, Dennis, was called up on stage both times someone was called up on stage. He was randomly chosen by the Deal or No Deal card he bought. He became a local celebrity after that.

We played cards in the library.

They both made weird faces...

Jackson came in second in the ping pong tournament and got a deck of cards. He refused to smile for a picture though.

Doug wanted to sit on the deck in the sun so Coleman and I joined him. The three teens were in the teen club.

Kenzie, Jordan, and Jackson slept in here. Coleman slept in the same room as Doug and me because the others were getting back late from the teen club.

More of the kids' room.

And one more.

Alaska Cruise Day 1

At the end of June we went on an Alaskan Cruise! We had a great time!
All our bags lined up and ready to go. We left from Seattle and my mom was nice enough to take us to the boat.

Waiting on the deck to be able to get into our room.

Kenzie, Coleman, and Jordan went swimming. The water was a little cold and really chlorinated they said.

At the front of the boat.

Leaving Seattle!

Random Pictures

Doug hurt his calf muscle playing basketball and couldn't walk well for a few days.

Kenzie's taking a break from horseback riding during the summer so this was her last day for awhile.

The kids played in the wiffle ball championship series. They ended up losing, but still had a great time!

A cute picture I found of cute Kenzie when she was a little dancer. She's good friends now with Delaynie who's laying next to her.

Kenzie's become obsessed with Diary of a Wimpy Kid and found a $20 book set of them on Craigslist and really wanted me to buy it for her. Unfortunately it was too far away.

We went to the temple with the Adamses, Fernadezes, and Wilsons (not pictured:))

Stacie, me, Anna

Coleman and I deep cleaned his room and we got rid of a lot of stuff! His room looks great now!

Father's Day and Coleman's Family Party

We had a great Father's Day! Doug's the best dad!

Kenzie found this cute sign on Amazon for him.

A headache mask. He tried it couple times and so far it didn't seem to help.

We got him some discs for disc golf and also a telescoping disk retriever for when his discs get stuck in trees :)

He was using it to grab things.

He got the tape!

We also celebrated Coleman's birthday at Ashlee's house.

Donuts for his treat again!

Ashlee straightened my mom's hair.  I didn't take an after picture, but it looked great.

The next day we went to my parents' house to put gravel around one of their sheds and then compacted the gravel. It was my dad's Father's Day presents from us and the Crabtree's. He was golfing in Scotland so we didn't get to see him on Father's Day.
