Our first stop was in Ketchikan. We walked around, shopped, and watched a lumberjack show.

Kenzie was sad to see a bear that was shot and killed.
The lumberjack show was a lot of fun! Two teams competed in different events. One was the Canadian team and the other was the U.S. team. They split the fans in half and then you had to cheer for the team from the section you were sitting in. We were in the Canadian team section. We thought it was funny that our lumberjacks were named Cole (maybe even Coleman) and Cameron.

Whichever team won handed out an autographed postcard to a fan in their section. Kenzie was chosen by one of our lumberjacks!

Our favorite was when they both stood on the log and tried to knock the other one off by moving the log.
