Our next stop was Icy Strait Point. It's a place created for cruise ships to visit.
We rode a gondola to another part of the island.
We walked along the beach.

We saw lots of starfish.
Someone recommended we walk to the town of Hoonah so we did, but we didn't love it. The first half of the walk was great, but there wasn't much in Hoonah to see or do so we just walked back soon after we got there. Coleman didn't like the walk.
A lot of the walk was pretty though and we could see the ocean.
On our gondola ride back to the boat, we saw a deer!
I told Doug he kept closing his eyes in the pictures I'd been taking so he made sure to keep them open for this one.
We finally saw a whale! It's shooting up water here! We didn't see as many as we hoped throughout the cruise, but we didn't see them a few times and saw some breech!
That night while the teens were at the teen club and the kid was at the kid club, Doug and I went to the Not So Newlywed Game. Dennis was chosen as a participant and I thought the kids would be excited about that so I took a picture of him:)
