Wind Storm

Washington had a bomb cyclone yesterday. It was super windy and a lot trees and power lines fell. So many people lost power and are still without power. We lost it last night from about 11:30-5:30, which is more than we've ever lost power in this house before. Doug was traveling for work in California, so he missed all the excitement. I was glad we don't have any tall trees around our house so I wasn't too worried during the storm.
This is a map of the power outages yesterday evening. Kenzie wanted to go play volleyball at the stake center, so I was checking frequently to see if the power was there. I didn't want to go, but we went and had a good time.

Our fence was a little damaged in the storm.

Our neighbor's fence was worse.

Kenzie babysat this morning and the kids had piano so we could see all the fallen trees and branches along the road. Kent wasn't too bad, but as we got more into Covington the damage was worse.

We had to go a different way to and from piano because a tree had fallen on a car on our normal route.
