BizTown

Jackson and Jordan went on a fantastic field trip to place called BizTown. It's a place where kids get to be grown ups. They have jobs and check books and things to buy. They each had certain jobs to do during the day and specific break and lunch times when they could visit the other businesses and spend the money they earned in their jobs. It was really well done and boys loved it!

They both worked for Allstate Insurance. Jackson was an insurance agent. He said he collected money from people a lot. Jordan was a Safety Specialist. He had to go around and install fire alarms and do safety inspections in the various businesses. He loved his job! Jackson thought his job was great too.

Bryce and Aubree participated too. Bryce was  cameraman and told me that was the best job in all of BizTown.

This was Bryce and Aubree's studio. Aubree was the CEO.

At the end, when we returned to pick them up they had a town meeting where the mayor (a kid) gave a speech and a few awards were given out. I wish I would have taken a picture of more of the businesses, but I know my kids are already looking forward to doing it again so I'll get more opportunities to take pictures :)
