We went to the Kangaroo Farm in Fall City. This was our third time, but we still learn new things each time. The most fascinating thing I learned is that kangaroos can control their pouch. If they are trying to protect the joey inside they can make it so that the pouch can't be opened. They can also make it so tight that they can get in the water without any water going in their pouch.
They got to hold a baby!
Kenzie was a little nervous at first, but after Jackson did it she wanted to.
Jordan and Coleman didn't want to hold it or even touch it.
They fed the wallabies.
It was pouring and the kangaroos wouldn't come out of their barn so we had to go to them. The guy said whenever their is a drop of rain they start jumping to cover as fast as they can.
They are so big!
Coleman didn't like being so close to the kangaroos.
He wanted me to carry him so I told him I would if he pet the kangaroo.
The kids had fun jumping in the puddles before we left.
