Grandma Dance Comes to Visit!

Grandma Dance came to visit for a week! We were so excited she could stay so long. Usually we only get to see her for a weekend when she comes to visit.
These 2 played tons of games. Coleman loves Chess right now. He know how all the pieces move, but is still figuring out strategy :)

She was here for her birthday and chose a pudding pie for her dessert. Doug and the kids made it.

Then we went to the Museum of Flight and enjoyed walking around there for awhile.

We went out to dinner at Olive Garden and then came home and sand happy birthday. But then we were all a little too full from dinner to actually eat the dessert so we had to save it for later.

We spent a lot of time hanging out at home and enjoying being together. On Saturday we went to Kenzie's soccer game and Grandma twisted her ankle :( She couldn't do much but rest the rest of the trip. On Sunday the kids had their primary program and she was able to go see that. They kids all did great and memorized their parts. Coleman had a talk and he memorized it all. He (and I:)) worked very hard to memorize it. Doug took his mom home that afternoon. We were especially glad that he was planning on taking her home since she hurt ankle.

The week went by so fast and we were sad to see her go.

The kids watched Doug and Grandma pull away. They waved to her and ran along the sidewalk. We loved having her here!
