Flaming Geyser and Taylor Mountain

We did a couple hikes in August with some friends.

Flaming Geyser:
Jackson loved eating blackberries that grew along the trail.

This is the flaming geyser. It's a natural gas flame that comes out of the ground. I was pretty disappointed the first time I saw it because it's so small. It's not Old Faithful :)

Taylor Mountain:
These first picture I took make me laugh. Kenzie had just spend the first half hour or so of the hike crying and whining. Then a few before we got to this spot she stopped crying and ran up ahead until she go here. Then she sat on the rocks and smiled for several pictures.
She's hard to get happy pictures of normally, but she just sat and smiled.

Anytime Coleman sees a rock he thinks he must throw it.

Jordan balancing the stick on his head.
Kenzie was happy the rest of the hike. She loved the dandelions along the trail. She loved blowing them. Coleman kept wanted to hold flowers too and loved throwing them.

After we got home I gave the kids baths.
Kenzie's hair was pretty curly after I took all the hairbands out. It made me wish I was talented enough to curl it and make it look cute :)
