Kid Talk

Conversation between Jack and Jordan in the car:
Jordan: This is the underwear song.
Jackson: No! Don't say that!
Jordan: Why? Is it not appropriate (he says the ate like the number 8)
Jackson: No.
Jordan: This is the underwear and pull up song.
Jackson: That is not appropriate.
Jordan: This is the pull up song.
Jackson: That is appropriate.


I asked Mackenzie if she wanted me to put her to bed a few night ago (I was giving her the choice between me and Doug).
She said: No, I just want to play.


When I give the it's-almost-bedtime warning Kenzie has started saying "I just got up."


I'm not sure if I've put this one on here since Kenzie has been saying it awhile, but I think it's cute so even if I have it's worth repeating. She likes to say "Carry you me" When she wants to be carried.


Kenzie was mad at me on Saturday when we were getting in the car going somewhere and I had to run back in to get something and Doug turned the car on. Kenzie said "Let's go!" wanting to leave me behind. But then when Doug said "Okay, let's go." and she said "don't go yet."


In the car today after walking with friends and playing at the park when it had been raining a little, Kenzie said "I don't want to go to walking group anymore." After I asked her why she said "I'm all wet."



When Kenzie sees a dog come towards her (or if she goes towards the dog without realizing he's there at first she runs away, very scared and tells me "the doggy tried to eat me."


She's also scared of ants. And pretty much anything that seems to move by itself, like remote control cars or shake and go cars. She's also scared of vacuums.
